You can have many options with you some of those are i)If you qualify for GATE entrance exam in civil engineering.Below public companies offer jobs to you MECON(Mellurgical and Engineering Consultant Limited) NALCO(National Aluminium Company Limited) HPCL(Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited) HECL(Heavy Engineering Corporation Limited) IOCL(Indian Oil Corporation Limited) GAIL(Gas Authority of India Limited) ii)You have also do the jobs in private sectors like Infosys,TCS,Tech Mahindra iii)You can also go for IES(Indian Engineering Services) iii)Civils,M.Tech in IIT's,UPSC(Union Public Service Commission),APPSC iv)You have choice to go for Higher educations.If you have interest in Management you can go for CAT,GMAT. v)You have also jobs in various research Institutes like IISc(Indian Institute of Science),ISRO(Indian Satellite Research Organization). |

I would advice you to get a job exposure for a year or two..after you get sound knowledge..go for MBA in project financing..A lot of scope is there in this field as big companies need financing for their projects and for that correct planning and estimation is required...This will widen your horizon in terms of getting a job as both banks as well as big organizations require PROJECT FINANCE managers |

BSNL,BHEL,NTPC, ..ets and construction company ..DHL,, and state government also hire civil eng.. you keep on your eyes on employment news,,, you prepare for IES exams ... and you prepare for gate exams .... you take reg. on different website like -naukari.com,monster .com.freshers world.com.... good luck... thank |

As many new construction companies are opening day by day ,so you can get a job in a good construction company.. if you have interest in doing higher study then you can go for Mtech.. you can apply for UPSC exams for govt. jobs.. so, go for it.. all the best.. |

Dear friend, since you are b.tech in civil engineering you have wide options available for you.you can give GATE exam if you want higher studies and also you can give IES exam conducted by UPSC.you can go for jobs in public as well as private sectors.if you do not get job from campus placement then you can post your resume at various sites and you will easily get a job. After completing you Under Graduation in Civil Engineering ,you can either go for the job or you can also go for the further studies in M.Tech... If you are interested in jobs you can go for supervisor of a construction site or a managerial position or in design, research as well as teaching in government services or private concerns.
