IBPS is an acronym for Institute of Banking Personnel Selection.For this exam 19 banks are participating.IBPS can conducts the common written exam separately for Probationary officers and clerks. The IBPS clerical exam will be conducted on 3 different days:27/11/2011,4/12/2011,111/12/2011.. [COLOR="rgb(255, 0, 255)"]Cut off marks for IBPS bank clerical:-[/COLOR] Cut off marks/score depends upon the Number of students taken the exam Number of students qualified Number of posts Difficulty of exam paper Depending upon the above 4 factors cutoff marks will decide. According to the experts ,IBPS exam is very huge competition exam,across India,so many students taking this exam.So you get 70% of marks that is 70% of 250 marks=175 you will defiantly get the job in any of the 19 banks notification. In worst case i.e the paper is difficulty then you have to score 60% of marks. - Reasoning carries 50questions for 50marks - English Language carries 50questions for 25marks - Numerical Ability carries 50questions for 50marks - General Awareness related to Banking Industry carries 50questions 50marks - Computer Knowledge carries 50question 50marks |

IBPS conduct CWE exam every 6 month for various post in 19 banks. for P.O./Clerk/special Assistant/Special Officer.etc The eligibility criteria for Bank PO exams are- 1.The candidate must complete their graduation with 55% from a recognized university 2.the age shuld be between 21-30 years. There are upper age relaxation for SC/ST 5 years OBC - 3 years PWD :- 10 years. The eligibility criteria for Bank Clerk exams are- 1.The candidate must complete ssc with 60% or The candidate must complete 12th with 55% from a recognized university or The candidate must complete graduation from a recognized university 2.the age shuld be between 18-28 years. There are upper age relaxation for SC/ST 5 years OBC - 3 years PWD :- 10 years. |

Dhakar publications CWE model papers for clerical cadre and Banking services chronicle (SC ) is also useful for preparing general awareness... Hope these may help you |
