Hi yes, GATE is the only exam for M.Tech in India Also these days PSU do hire you on the basis of your GATE score. After M.tech you can go for PhD. Lecture ship, R n D or Job Some of the good M.Tech colleges are as follows 1. IIT Bombay, India 2. IIT Kanpur, India 3. IIT Delhi, India 4. BITS, Pilani University, India 5. IIT Kharagpur, , India 6. IIT Madras, India 7. IIT Varanasi (ex-IT BHU), India 8. IIIT Allahabad, India 9. IIT Guwahati, India 10. ISM Dhanbad, India 11. College of Eng., Anna University, Guindy, India 12. NIT- National Institute of Technology, Waranga, India 13. New IITs, India 14. BIT, Mesra, Ranchi, India 15. NIT- National Institute of Technology, Trichy, India These are some of the best colleges which have good faculty, good infrastructure and better placement compare to rest of the colleges. Hello Friend After Bsc in biology you may go for following studies. PG diploma in clinical research PG diploma in lab technology PG diploma in Physiotherapy PG diploma in Biotechnology you may have the Non-Technical career option like MBA or MCA or BIOMETRIC course. Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is an all India examination administered and conducted jointly by the Indian Institute of Science and seven Indian Institutes of Technology on behalf of the National Coordination Board - GATE, Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India. Admission to postgraduate programmes with MHRD and some other Government scholarships/assistantships in engineering colleges/institutes is open to those who qualify in GATE examination. GATE qualified candidates with Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Technology/Architecture or Master's degree in any branch of Science/Mathematics/Statistics/Computer Applications are eligible for admission to Master's degree programmes in Engineering/Technology/Architecture as well as for Doctoral programmes in relevant branches of Science with MHRD or other government scholarships/assistantships. Companies do not consider your GATE score on recruitment. But colleges take into account your GATE score for admissions in M.Tech. It is analogous to AIEEE or IIT_JEE.
