Where to get application forms for IPS Preliminary Exam? this year IAS Preliminary examination was already completed and The result of Preliminary examination was Declared and Updated in the Official website, Those who cracked the preliminary examination and Eligible to sit in Main examination. >> So, If you have completed your Graduation course OR if you are Pursuing your Final year graduate degree course, then you are eligible for this examination. >> But your age should between 21 to 30 years. >> There is No minimum percentage eligibility criteria to apply for this examination. The Notification of this examination was Published every year in the month of February in the employment newspaper or in the UPSC Official website. So, If you are Interested in this examination, then please apply for this examination next year, the Schedule and dates of Next year examination was already updated in the official website. Important Dates of UPSC CSAT Examination 2012 - >> Notification published - 04/Feb/2012. >> Last date of apply - 05/March/2012 |

Well to become an IPS officer you have to take the civil service exam which is conducted by the UPSC every year .The examination is done for different post including IPS,IFS,IAS and many other civil service exam. The pattern and the eligibility criteria for different post are same . Eligibility :: The candidate who is applying for the exam must have completed his graduation in any streams . The students should be between 21 to 30 years .There is upper age relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for the OBC candidates .You have to show your caste documents to take any relaxation in the upper age limit . There is some relaxation also given in number of times they can appear for the exam which is as follows : For general Category : only 4times they can attempt for the exam. For SC/ST::Unlimited times For OBC:: 7 times This year preliminary exam is over and the result is about to come and the main examination is also about to done so you can not fill the application form this year but if you are eligible for the exam you can apply for the civil service exam next year Important dates for the 2012 civil service exam:: Starting date of selling of the application form ::04.02.2012 Last date to apply for the exam is ::05.03.2012 Date of Preliminary examination is ::20.05.2012 Date of Main examination is::05.10.2012 For more information ::http://upsc.gov.in/ |

Where to get application forms for IPS Preliminary Exam? sorry to say but the date apllying for IPS pre exams, conducted by CSAT , has been over. the age limit exist for this exam 21-30 year. there is also the relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST candidates. also you must to compete your graduation from any stream. Important Dates of UPSC CSAT Examination 2012 - >> Notification published - 04/Feb/2012. >> Last date of apply - 05/March/2012 >> Examination dates - 20/May/2012. The application form will available after 04-02-2012 at designated post office and head post offices throughout the country. The application procedure also includes online method and to do so, you will have log on to www.upsconline.nic.in You may apply for the exam only if you are a graduate and within the age limit of 21-30 years. The maximum age limit is relaxed upto 3 years for OBC and 5 years SC/ST category. For further information, refer to the official website of UPSC. |
