I.P.S --- INDIAN POLICE SERVICES

To get in to those you must write civil Services Exam

This is conducted by the Union Public Service Commission

And the minimum age is 21 years

Maximum age is 30 years

These are for the " General Candidates " only

General --- 21 - 30 years

OBC --- 21 - 33 years

SC / ST --- 21 - 35 years

Physically Disabled candidates --- 21 - 40 years

Dear There,

The acronym for IAS is Indian Administrative Services.

The acronym for IPS is Indian Police Services.

The eligibility criteria required for the IAS and IPS examinations are prescribed as below:-

* Completion of graduation in any track from any accredited college or university.

* Final year contenders are also eligible.

* Age limit:- 21-30 yrs.

* Age relaxation:- 3 yrs for OBC and 5 yrs for SC/ST contenders.

* No. of attempts:- 4 for General, 7 for OBC and no limits for SC/ST contenders.

* Nationality:- Indian.

* Physically and mentally fit.

According to your date of birth, you are eligible for the IAS and IPS examinations.

Hello Friend,

UPSC conduct the IAS(Indian Administrative Service) & IPS(Indian Police Service) every year.Graduation is the minimum qualification required to apply for the exams.

Age Required:
1.For General - The aspirant who have attained minimum 21 year & not have attained maximum 30 year on 1st August of the year of examination.
2.OBC- 3 year upper age relaxed
3.SC/ST-5 year upper age relaxed
4.Blind,Deaf,Mute, orthopedically handicapped-10 year upper age relaxed
5.Jammu & Kashmir domiciles(1980-1989)-5 year age relaxation
6.Special cases of defense personnel - 3 year
7.special cases ex service man who have rendered at least 5 year in military service up to maximum 5 year age relaxation.

For IAS,IPS the candidate must be a citizen of India.

IAS/IPS - Indian Administrative Service/Indian Police Service, to become an IAS/IPS officer, one has to crack Civil Service Exam conducted by UPSC every year.

The age criteria for Civil Service Exam:-

General Category candidate- 21 to 30 years

OBC Category candidate- 21 to 33 years

ST/ST category candidate-21 to 35 years

Apart from this, the eligible candidate aspiring for IAS/IPS, must be an Indian National having either appear for the final Graduation Degree exam or pass in any stream from a recognised University.

After graduation you can apply for I.A.S exam.
I.A.S exam is conducted by U.P.S.C once in a year.

Age should be in between 21-30 year.
For O.B.C candidate age should be 21-33 year.
For ST/SC candidate age should be in between 21-37 year.

You can apply online or offline.
The Form cost is just 50 Rs.

IAS = Indian Administrative Services.
IPS = Indian Police Services.

IAS/IPS Exam is conduct by UPSC at national level.
IAS Is highest Rank Post in UPSC Civil Services examination.

If you want to appear in IAS Exam then you have to Fulfill This Criteria:

Education:
you must complete your Graduation degree in any stream from recognized University.
Students of Final year of graduation degree are also Eligible for IAS Examination.

Age Limit:
General: 21years to 30 years.
SC/ST: 21 years to 35 years.
OBC: 21 years to 33 years.

the maximum age limit for IAS/IPS exam for various categories is as below-

as per your age you'll be 27 yrs 1 month one 1-07-2013 and hence you are eligible for IAS/IPS-2013.

In order to become a IAS(Indian administrative officer)officer, you must have to clear the civil service examination, conducted by the UNION PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION .
Through this examination, one can apply for the Indian administrative & police services.
This civil services examination has three stages to be clear,

>> CSAT (CIVIL SERVICE APTITUDE TEST)
>> MAINS
>> INTERVIEW.

The educational requirement for this examination is a graduation degree from a recognized college in any stream.There is not any minimum requirement of percentage ,for appear in this exam.

Csat Exam pattern-

There are 25 optional subjects in CSAT exam-

Optional subjects in MAINS-

The age limit for this examination is a 21-30 years,.there are 3 &5 years of the age relaxation are applicable for the OBC & SC\ST candidates..i.e.,

21-33 year for the OBC candidates
21-35 years for the SC\ST candidates..

No. of attempts-

Four for the GENERAL candidates,
Seven for the OBC candidates,
No such restriction for the SC\ST candidates..

You must have Indian citizenship.

IAS ,IPS exams are civil service exams , which is conducted bu UPSC every year.

AGE ELIGIBILITY:-

1.The candidate must have attained the 21 years of age and must not have complete the 30 years of age..
For SC/ST the upper age relaxation is 5 years and for OBC the upper age relaxation is 3 years.

General category students can appear in IAS, IPS exam maximum 4 times.
OBC category students can appear in IAS, IPS exam maximum 7 times.
SC/ST category students can appear in IAS, IPS exam unlimited times.

So, go for it...

Eligibilty for csat exam conducted by upsc is same for the ias an ips.Individual must be graduate in any stream from recognised university. Age criteria- for general candidate age not less than 21years and not more than 30 years. Age relaxation fo OBC,ST &SC candidate of 3 years and 5 year respectively in upper age. Number of chances for the general is limited to 4 only where as for obc,st,sc candidates having no restriction till their upper age expires. As ur date of birth is 01/06/86 so ur presently 25 years old.if u completed ur graduation ur eligible for first stage of examination means CSAT(Civil services aptitude test).best of luck.

IAS and IPS exam are both the exams of Indian Civil Service and these exams are being carried out by UPSC and are held every year for recruiting candidates for the post of IAS and IPS officer.

For writing this exam there are certain eligibility criteria and as you have particularly mentioned about the age limit,i have mentioned the information regarding it below for your reference:

Candidate must be a citizen of India.

Candidate must have a age limit of 21-30 years for General category candidates for IAS and IPS

Candidate must have a age limit of 21-33 years for SC/ST category candidates for IAS and IPS

Candidate must have a age limit of 21-35 years for OBC category candidates for IAS and IPS

There is a allocation for the Ex-service men as they get 5 years exception from the prescibed limits.
