Re: Number of seats reserved for OBC in AIIMS?

The government has announced that 27 percent OBC reservation would be implemented in the prestigious All India Institute of Medical Sciences from the coming academic session.

But candidates belonging to OBC creamy layer will be excluded from the benefits of reservation.

The government has also increased the number of seats in AIIMS for both graduate and undergraduate courses to accommodate more students under the 27 per cent OBC reservation. The number of seats would go up by 182
