To apply Those who are desirous and have completed their Engineering in following discipline can apply for this Electrical ,Mechanical ,Civil,Instrumentation & Electronics.You can fill the form from www.iitd.ac.in/gatePattern and selection:-Duration will be 3 hours. Exam will be objective i.e The question paper consists of only objective type questions. Each question will have four choices for the answer. Only one choice is correct.Question Papers bearing the codes : AE, AG, AR, BT, CE, CH, CS, CY, EC, EE, IN, MA, ME, MN, MT, PH, PI and TF |

First 120 question on technical and 50 questions on general aptitude. 1/3 negative marks for all the questions. 2 hours exam.(No calculator allowed) Question paper along with the key sheet should be handed over to the invigilator after the end of exam. Microprocessor 8085,interrupt structure,architecture,memories,mapping schemes,8255,interrupt controller(8259)(ICW1,OCW etc.) hard disk,floppy disk access times Management science abc analysis(inventory management) Signals systems: fourier transfor,sinc functions,convolution Network theory: resonant frequency formula OP AMPS: aid d/a converters,differentiators and integrators,instrumentation amplifiers. digital communications: fdm, tdm I almost covered OS% of the topics.This is as far as I could remember. About aptitude: synonyms antonyms comprehension passages aptitude problem solving skills(train probs,loss profit sums,ratios,etc.) word analogies fill in the sentences with the most suitable word type of questions. Q.26 to Q.55: Will carry two marks each (sub-total 60 marks) 2/3 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer. Q.48 through Q.51 (2 pairs) will be common data questions. Each question will carry two marks 2/3 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer. (Q.52, Q.53) and (Q.54, Q.55) will be linked answer questions.
