I am graduate with BCA and have passed the secondary TET conducted by the govt of ASSAM.But unable to apply for any post in the schools.What should I do now?

I HAVE COMPLETED MY BCA DEGREE WITH 70% AND I ALSO COMPLETED B.ED WITH 80%. IN TET EXAMINATION THEY HAVE NOT MENTIONED ANY THING ABOUT COMPUTER SCIENCE SUBJECT AND SUBJECT CODE . PLEASE CLARIFY MY DOUBTS TO FILL MY APPLICATION FORM CORRECTLY.

Dear friend,

Yes , You are eligible TET exam.Because you have completed BCA degreeDetails of the TET exam is given below.


TET will be a compulsory and essential requirement for securing a teaching job in all types of schools.

You must have a valid degree for B.Ed course.

The certificate can not be more than 7 years old.

There will be 2 papers with objective multiple choice questions. Each paper will consist of 150 questions. These papers are intended for different levels of teaching as described below.

1. Paper I: For those want to become teachers for classes I-V.
2. Paper II: For those want to teach classes between VI and VIII.
3. Paper I and II: Those interested in teaching from Class I to VIII will have to appear and qualify in both the papers.

Age:- There is no upper age limit to apply for Teacher Eligibility Test (TET).

1. Child Development and Pedagogy

2. Mathematics

3. Environmental Study

4. Language I (medium of instruction)

5. Language II (chosen from a list other than language I)

As specified above each section will have 30 questions of one mark each.

The last date to apply for UP TET 2011 examination is 18th October, 2011.

UPTET 2011 EXAM DATE :- 13th November, 2011.

I have complete my BA with 44%, and mba (distance) with 56%. and pursuing b.ed .Can i m applicable for TET Exam . Plz give me solution that what to do

Yes the BCA students can appear in the Teachers eligibility Test. But the candidate needs to have a B.Ed along with the graduation. But apart from this the candidates should have secured at least 50% marks while after doing the graduation course. Also the candidates should attend the graduation from an institution which is recognized by the government. Hence if you satisfy all these qualifications you can attend the TET.
