Re: IAS exam eligibility for 35 years aged 10th class pass person

Dear Friend,

The IAS Exam is the popular name for the Civil Services Examination.

This Exam is conducted every year by the Union Public Service Commission for the recruitment of successful candidates in IAS, IPS , Treasury, etc.

The Complete Eligibility Criteria Required for Civil Services Examination are :

* you must have completed your graduation in any discipline from any recognized college/university.

* Candidates in Final year Of graduation are also eligible.

* your age must lie in between 21-30 years considering you to be from General Category.

* There is also a relaxation in upper age of 3 years for OBC category and of 5 years for SC/ST category.

* Nationality :

You must be an Indian Citizen.

So , from the above mentioned , you can see that there is no way for a 10th pass person to apply for Civil services Examination.

This is the information i have to the best of my knowledge regarding your query. Hope the information will help you to the extent you want.

Re: IAS exam eligibility for 35 years aged 10th class pass person

1st-You are not eligible Because you need to qualify Graduation Examination ~

2nd-A candidate must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have attained the age of 30 years on 1st August, 2010, i.e. he must have been born not earlier than 2nd August, 1980 and not later than 1st August, 1989.

3rd-# Note: Candidates belonging to the Scheduled Castes and the Scheduled Tribes and the Other Backward Classes who are also covered under any other clauses of para 3(ii) (b) above, viz. those coming under the category of Ex-servicemen, persons domiciled in the State of J & K, blind, deaf-mute and orthographically handicapped etc. will be eligible for grant of cumulative age-relaxation under both the categories.

Re: IAS exam eligibility for 35 years aged 10th class pass person

Hai,
You are not eligible to write IAS exam, there are two reasons why you are not eligible for this exam.

First one is your age the maximum age for general candidates is 30 years and relaxation for the reserved candidates, now your age is 35 years so you are not eligible.

Second one is your educational qualification as per civil services examination the minimum educational qualification for the IAS exam is graduation from any recognised university.
So you are not eligible to write IAS exam.

Re: IAS exam eligibility for 35 years aged 10th class pass person

Dear friend,
You have to be a SC/ST candidate for appearing IAS being a candidate off 35 years of age.

IAS Eligibility :

Academic Qualification :
The candidate must be graduate from any university.

Age Limit :
For General :21 to 30 years.[SC/ST will get 5 years age relaxation and OBC will get 3 year age relaxation]

No Of Attempts :

General : 4.
SC/ST: Unlimited.
OBC :7.

Dear friend,
now you can easily understand that if you are not an SC/ST candidate then you are not eligible for IAS.

IAS -- Indian Administrative Service .

The Eligibility for IAS is :

You must be a Graduate in any discipline.
Your age must be in between 21 to 30 years only.
And you must be a citizen of India.

The best to choose after 10th in order to become IAS Officer is Commerce subject in Intermediate.

The one you can select from the Intermediate course are :

CEC -- Civics Economics Commerce,
MEC -- Maths Economics Commerce,
HEC -- History Economics Civics

Once you complete the course with dinstinction then you must go for Graduation i.e Bachelors Degree in Commerce.

You must select B.Com as your main subject in Graduation course.

B.Com stands for Bachelor of Commerce.

You must complete this Graduation with a min of 60% as your aggregate.
This course generally lasts for 3 years only.

You are only eligible for IAS when you are a GRADUATE.

The reason behind choosing Commerce field right after 10th standard is :

You will be finding all simple ways in preparing for IAS.
You know all the topics from which the questions are asked in IAS.
The topics which you have covered in all your academics will help you in cracking an IAS Entrance Examination .

Good LUck !!

The minimum eligibility for IAS exam is graduation degree with maximum age of 30 for general category and 3 and 5 years relaxed for OBC and SC/St category. So, in both ways you are not eligible to take IAS exam.

Re: IAS exam eligibility for 35 years aged 10th class pass person

eligibility criteria for IAS exam -

1. Graduation from any recognized university .
2. Age limit = 21 to 30 years .(5 years relaxation for sc/st)
3. Number of permissible attempts = 4 times for general (7 times for sc/st)

So the minimum qualification required for IPS exam is graduation .As a 10th class pass there is no way to apply for IPS exam .

You can go for the group "D" exams of Govt. sectors .

The eligibility criteria for the IAS exam is as under-

1. A bachelor's degree from a recognised institutes with 50% marks.

2. The maximum age limit for candidates belonging to general category is 30 years.
Maximum age limit for candidates belonging to SC/ST category is 35 years and 33 years for OBC.

As both the above parameters are not fitted to you so its better for you to drop the idea & search for some other exam. There are a no: of jobs available after 10th class too so its better for you to register your resume at various sites like naukri.com,shine.com etc & get the latest updates from them.
