According to the eligibility criteria of this exam the candidate should hold a graduation degree in any stream from a recognized university. As B.Tech(CS) is also a graduation degree of course they can apply for bank PO exams. So first complete your graduation and then you can apply for this exam. Best of luck!! |

Bank Po Eligibility : Candidates must be complete Graduation in any stream with min of 55% aggregate from a recognized university Final year appearing candidates also eligible for apply Candidates age limit between 21 to 30 years The upper age relaxation as per govt rules 3 years age relaxation for OBC candidates 5 years age relaxation for SC/ST candidates Selection Process : Written Test Interview Written Test Pattern : Duration of Time : 150min Questions : 250 1st Section : Reasoning with 50 questions of 50 marks English language with 50 questions of 50 marks Quantitative Aptitude with 50 questions of 50 marks General Awareness with 50 questions of 50 marks Computer Knowledge with 50 questions of 50 marks 2nd Section : Descriptive type questions on English composition with 25 max marks attained this section of IBPS CWS exam in 60 min Descriptive type questions will be from eassay , precis , letter writing ........ If you couldn't able to produce your certificates before joining, all your efforts will waste. My suggestion for you. Being you are a btech CS graduate, You can also try for Technical officer in bank Thanks |

You are surely eligible for any BANK PO exams because the minimum academic qualification required for appearing in Bank PO exams are a graduation degree in any field under a recognized university. and final year students can also apply if they can show their certificate of passing by the end of the time decided by the bank authorities or by the time of interview. The minimum marks required throughout the graduation is 55%.... I hope you are maintaining that criteria too. Besides this, you are absolutely eligible for the Bank PO exams. |

Re: Can a B.Tech CS student apply for Bank PO exam? It actually depends on banks. Some banks are demanding degree certificate by jan 2011, there you cannot apply. But in other banks b.tech continuing is also allowed, there you can apply. |

Re: Can a B.Tech CS student apply for Bank PO exam? As per the eligibility criteria any graduate can appear for this test. Also candidates who are in their final year can also appear for the same. Since you are in the final year you can appear for the exam. The minimum marks required for appearing for this exam varies from 55% to 60%. Make sure that you have at least 60% to be eligible to apply for any bank test. |
