I am not a very bright student as, one should say, but I still feel like I have an inclination towards the research field. Is it very important to be the brightest student to go in that field? |

Re: Career options for students with PCB after 12th apart from MBBS? i have score 59% in pcb state board and 72% total.11th and 12th i did coaching of medicel in kota and then repeated.my papers weren't that good.what option must i opt for having a career in genetics ,is there scope?or should i sit home 1 year and study from my study material or join mhcet classes. my elders are asking me to do bsc-fy,sy and ty and side by side do upsc coaching .would that be best for me .frankly im intrested in any field in bio b scopeful career options are most welcome. also plz would u let me know the best universities i could get admitted to in bsc with my 12th score?(and the forms would be still available) i have been a bright student with 86% in icse in 10th.i went to kota with a dream to go to aiims in 11th. -plz reply asap with regards xyz |

After completion of Medicine, you can work as a doctor in various hospitals and you can start your own clinic also. As you mentioned, you are not interested to join MBBS, the following courses also available for you to join. Decide upon the one which you are having interest and know the procedure to get admission for that course and join the same. Here they are BDS (Bachelor of Dental Science) BPT (Bachelor of Physiotherapy) BHMS (Bachelor of Homeopathic Surgeon) BAMS (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Surgeon) Veterinary course You can join Pharmacy field also by opting for any of the following courses B-Pharmacy D-Pharmacy M-Pharmacy Candidates can join 3 year Graduation course in B.Sc with any of the following life science subjects Biotechnology Microbiology Genetics Bio-Chemistry Bio-Informatics etc. You can also opt for the following courses B.Sc Agriculture B.Sc Nursing Some of the above mentioned courses will be having Entrance Exam to get admission where as some other Entrance Exams do not require any Entrance Exam. First identify the course that you are having interest to join and know the selection procedure and top colleges offering the course. Crack the selection procedure and get admission for that course.
