Re: After final year B.E IT what should I do? Sir i have completed my B.E in IT. I am working with a private company from 1 and a half year. But now i am not interested in programming. please help me what should i do now for a change. I am very much interested to do some creative work. But i don't want to do programming now. what else i can do please suggest me.. |

Re: After final year B.E IT what should I do? Dear pal, being a bachelor degree holder you can apply for your job as well as for your masters course if you are interested. For doing masters course you need to appear in the GATE exam which is conducted every year. There are many university which recognises it. The score is valid for a period of two years. Only one that you can apply for public sector units also with that score. The various public sector units are bhel, ongc, bsnl, ntpc,drdo etc. Other than this you can also apply for various service exams. The various exams conducted by upsc are ias,ips,ies etc. For all the exam bachelor degree is a must. But for IES bachelor degree in engineering is a must so you can prepare for it and appear in that exam. Other than this you can apply for many private companies namely infosis, sap, google, etc but for all the jobs if you have gate score then you have are prefered more than others. So it would be better if you write the exam with good preparation. |

B.E in IT stream is not a core side in the Industrial side hence you have less opportunities in the Industrial side of the Public Sector but still IT graduates are recruits in various Government companies like NTPC, BEL, BSNL, ISRO, DRDO, ONGC,.etc. There are many other PSU's which recruit IT graduates but compared to the core branches like Mechanical and Electrical, IT candidates are recruited in a less number. For more details regarding PSU's go through the following link http://www.india.gov.in/citizen/employment.php?id=5 If you just mean a Government job then you can attend many exams on your graduation basis.Many of the exams which you can attend are conducted by UPSC ,SSC and State's PSC like CSAT, CDS, Sub Inspector Recruitment in various sectors,.etc.You can enter to various sectors like Defense, Railways, Aviation and other such government sectors by going through these examinations. After final year B.E IT what should I do? sir, Now im final year BE student in IT branch.Sir i dnt understand what i have to do after BE?sir,i wanna do some goverment jobs...so please can you suggest me any job or any entrance exam...thanks in advance |
