Re: How to join Merchant Navy after passing B.Tech 6 semester? you can't join Mechant Navy now that is after passing B.Tech 6th semester . If you want to join merchant navy then you will have to complete graduation first. The various ways of joining This course are as follows : 3 year degree course in Nautical Science for (10+2) students. 4 year degree course in Marine Engineering for (10+2) students. 2 year course for Diploma Holders. 1 year course for Graduate Mechanical Engineers. 3 month course for Deck Cadets for (10+2) students. As you can see that none of any course are available to you .So first of all complete your graduation. |

Re: How to join Merchant Navy after passing B.Tech 6 semester? Hi Dear If you want to join in merchant navy then you join after 12th science then you join in merchant navy college. There is many college are in INDIA for merchant navy course.

To join Merchant Navy a candidate should have completed his +2 with PCM (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics), they can join as Deck Cadets. Candidate holding a bachelor's degree in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Technology Engineering could also join the Merchant navy as a Engine Cadet/ Fifth Engineer/ Junior Engineer. You have to appear for the written test followed by interview. Regards |
