Re: What is the duration of B.Ed programme? Dear friend, Those candidate have completed graduation or post graduation from recognized university are applicable for B.Ed course. Your graduation or post graduation marks must be hold above 50% . For SC/ST candidate this marks is decreased to above 45% marks. Only Arts and Science departments are eligible for B.Ed course.There are some institute provide B.Ed course for B.Com and BBA candidates. There is no age criteria so any one who holds the above criteria are eligible for B.Ed course. Every university conduct their own entrance exam for B.Ed candidate selection. The B.Ed course duration is 2 years . Thanks |

Re: What is the duration of B.Ed programme? B.ED. stands for BACHELOR IN EDUCATION is a teachers training programme is generally two years course but in some Institution the course is for one year. Only graduate or post graduate degree holder with 50% marks can apply for B.Ed. course. There is no age bar for pursing B.Ed. course. |

Dear friend,candidates who got graduation in arts and science department can do B.ed.some university provide 1 year as course duration while some has 2 years as course duration.It is offered in many institutes and university around india.It is also offered in distance mode in IGNOU.Studying b.ed makes one eligible for becoming teachers upto 10th standard in your subject.You can also apply for goverment job. |

 A B.Ed is an honours degree course in education. Duration Of B.Ed Course: The course duration lasts from 2 to 4 yrs depending on your background and subjects selected . In some institution its one year and in some its 2 years duration. As you have not specified the name of the institution so i suggest you to follow the website of the concerned institution to know about the exact course duration. Regards |

Re: What is the duration of B.Ed programme? dear friend, B.ed course is only for teaching jobs.. If you want to become a teacher in future then you can go for B.ed course. The duration of B.ed course is 2 years.. After completion of graduation one can apply for B.ed course. There is no age limit to apply for B.ed course. All the best. |
