Re: Am I eligible for IPS entrance after completing BBA? Yes, Definitely after completing your BBA Course you are eligible to apply for Civil services examination, Because graduation is the minimum eligibility to apply for this examination. |

Re: Am I eligible for IPS entrance after completing BBA? Dear pal, you are eligible to appear in the exam for the ips post. As the minimum academic requirement is a bachelor degree from a recognised university. But you need to satisfy age requirement before applying for it. 1. The minimum age required for applying is 21 for all the category. 2. The general aspirant can apply upto a age of 30. Bc and mbc aspirant can apply upto 33 . Sc and st aspirant can make their way into the post upto 35 years. Aspirant can apply for only a limited number of times. For sc and st aspirant there is no restriction in the number of attempts. General have aspirant can make 4 attempts. Bc and mbc aspirant can make 7 attempts. The aspirant need to satisfy certain physical requirement too. The selection procedure for the post involves written exam 1. Aptitude test. 2. Main exam physical test personnel interview |

Re: Am I eligible for IPS entrance after completing BBA? dear friend, You want to become an IPS officer in future, then you have to fulfill following eligibility criteria. Eligibility criteria for IPS exam:- 1.Candidate must have complete the graduation in any trade. 2.Candidate should not have any pending backlogs during graduation. 3.Candidates age should be in between 21-30 years. For SC/ST the upper age relaxation is 5 years and for OBC the upper age relaxation is 3 years. 4.Candidate must be a citizen of India. 5.Candidate must be physically fit. These are the eligibility criteria you have to fulfill. As you have done BBA course then you can appear in IPS exam. So, go for it.. All the best. |

As Indian Police Service exam is Part of Civil Service exam.So you should appear for Civil Service exam.This exam is conducted by UPSC every year once. To appear for Civil service exam You should have complete graduation degree with any stream from any stream from a recognized university. And your age should be between 21 to 30 years. If you fulfill with above mentioned criteria,then you can appear for Civil service exam. The civil service exam consist of Preliminary Exam and Main exam. Preliminary Exam dates for 2012: Issuing of application form from 4th Feb 2012 to 5th March 2012. And exam will held on 20th May 2012. Main exam will held on 15th Oct 2012. After clearing this two exam with top rank,then you can become a Indian Police Service Officer. |

IPS after BBA Hi friend, You will be happy to know that,As you have completed your BBA that means you are graduate so you can definitely eligible for IPS(UPSC) exam. One more thing is your age should be from 21-30 years for this post. If you are meeting this eligibility , then you can definitely apply.
