Re: What to do to take admission in degree engineering in RTU affiliated college after diploma in Computer Science? For taking admission in a Rajasthan Technical University(RTU) affiliated college, you have to appear for the Rajasthan Pre Entrance Test(RPET).A Rajasthan Pre-Engineering Test (RPET) is conducted by Malaviya National Institute of Technology, Jaipur for admission to BE/ BTech/ BArch Courses in various Engineering Colleges in Rajasthan. The eligibility criteria for RPET is as follows: Educational Qualification criteria- 1. The minimum academic qualification for admission to B.Tech. /B.E. program in Rajasthan is a pass with at least 50% marks (45% marks in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST of Rajasthan state) in the subjects combination as given below taken together, in the final examination of 10+2 (Class XII) of Board of Secondary Education, Rajasthan or any other examination recognized equivalent thereto by Board of Secondary Education, Rajasthan. 2. The candidates appearing for 10+2 are also eligible. Age Criteria: The candidate should not be below 16 years of age and not more than 23 years on 1st October of the year of the examination. SC/ST candidates are granted relaxation of 3 years in upper age limit. |

Re: What to do to take admission in degree engineering in RTU affiliated college after diploma in Computer Science? friend,yes u can take admission in degree engg. in rtu affialated colleges after ur diploma. for that when the notification arrives in the month of july/august by rtu, u have to apply for the leet, lateral entry programme because u have already completed your diploma. after that there will be usual counselling and a seat will be allocated to u.your degree in engg. will also be of 3 yrs duration. for more info u should visit rtu.gov.in |

Candidate has studied continuously as a regular student in recognized educational institutions in Rajasthan for the preceding three years up to and including the year in which he/she has passed / appearing the qualifying examination (i.e. X, XI and XII classes). 2.) Candidate is a son/daughter of either a serving employee or of a retired employee of Rajasthan government. 3.) Candidate is a son/daughter of an employee of any of the Universities in Rajasthan or Board of secondary Education, Rajasthan or Government aided Engineering Colleges of Rajasthan who has(3)put in at least three years service on the date of submission of application in any of the above bodies. 4.) Candidate is a son/daughter of an employee of Rajasthan origin, serving in Defence/Central Government services/Public Sector undertakings/National Institutes of Government of India, who has put in at least three years service on the last date for submission of application irrespective of his/her place of posting provided a certificate is submitted by the employee from the employer to this effect stating the State of origin and the home town as given by him/her at the time of his/her entry into service. If you had completed your 10+2 from Rajasthan or its equivalent and fulfill the age and domicile criteria, then you are eligible for admission in RTU affiliated colleges. |
