No, sorry to say, but you are not eligible for M.tech because it has been made compulsory by AICTE that all the B.tech students have to appear in the GATE exam for their m.tech degree.

Also you have to score 55% for schedue cast and 60% for general category at your graduation level.

HI friend...
some of the basic requirements to get int IIT are as follows..

1... person belonging to general catergory must secure a minimum of 60% oa marks in aggregate..in qualifying the examination....
while for other belonging to SC,ST and PD categorese mst secure a minimum of 55%..

the upper age limit is 25 year for general category which is relaxable up to 5 years in case of reserved category ...

ELIGIBILITY ::

You should be in pre final year or final year of your engineering degree
You must appeared for GATE exam
If you score good in GATE exam only then you will get selected for IIT's

GATE EXAM conducts ever year only once and its marks valid for 2 years .
There is no upper age limit in GATE .

The Only Qualifications required for one to get into IIT's are

you should be pursuing B.tech or complete b.tech

thats all this is the basic eligibility for getting into IIT's For Your Masters

The entrance exam conducted for this is GATE exam

i.e., Graduate Aptitude Test for Engineering

this is conducted by anyone of the IIT's or IISc

this is conducted every year

and this exam is conducted on 2nd sunday of february every year

this is all about the answer for your question

the student has to pass engineering in any stream and have to appear for the GATE.He should pass the GATE exam to go for IIT.

Hi,

You need to be graduated in that field you want to do PG and have to appear for the GATE exam to get admission into MTech in IITs.

To get in IITs you mast be gratuated in engineering(technology, architecture) or in pharmacy and you need to clear GATE with good percentile. for detail please visit http://gate.iitm.ac.in
