if you are interested to do courses on power engineering then obviously you may take admission in NPTI(National Power Training Institute) or in Jadavpur. i think your first preference should be NPTI. if you are unable to get chance in NPTI 8 centers in India then try to get admission in Jadavpur.

NPTI Nagpur is a very good institution for power engineering course. also average of 3.8 L.P.A is not bad.so if you get chance just take admission.

mainly power engineering graduate work in thermal power plant. but some company specially mechanical related company also recruit few numbers of power engineering candidates. if you go for higher study then you may go for research field or you may come in teaching profession.

if you are interested in electronics also then first try for power engineering course in a good institution but if you are unable to get chance then go for study in electronics. there are so many branches in engineering which are related with electronics like electronics and communication engineering, electrical and electronics engineering, electronics and instrumentation engineering etc. so choose any one stream from these which are related with electronics. but first try for power engineering courses.

best wishes.
