dear friend it is not possible for you to join aieee through diploma but if you have passed +2(pcm) than you can appear for aieee... or if you want to do BE than you can try lateral entry through which you will get admited into 2nd year of BE but you must have>60% in diploma

Yes, Diploma holder Candidate are eligible for AIEEE exam.


ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA AIEEE:-


1.The candidate must have passed their 10+2 examinations or its equivalent degree from a recognized board with physics ,chemistry and mathematics..

2. You must score 60% above in 12th.

If you fulfill the above criteria then you are eligible for AIEEE.

AGE CRITERIA:-

Your age should be in between 17 to 25 years.

AIEEE EXAM SCHEDULE:-

Date of AIEEE 2012 Examination (Offline) ----- 29.04.2012

Dates of AIEEE 2012 Online Examination ----- 07-05-2012 to 26-05-2012

Last Date of receipt Application form ----- 05.01.2012

Date of dispatch of AIEEE 2012 Admit Card ----- 10.03.2012 to 31.03.2012

Declaration of AIEEE 2012 Results ----- On or before 15.06.2012

COST OF THE AIEEE EXAM:-

For BE/B.Tech. or B.Arch/B.Planning

Offline examination fees: Rs. 800 (Rs 400 for SC/ST/PWD)
Online Examination Fees: Rs. 500 (Rs. 250 for SC/ST/PWD)

For Both BE/B.Tech and B.Arch/ B. Planning.

Offline examination fees: Rs. 1400 (Rs 700 for SC/ST/PWD)
Online Examination Fees: Rs. 1100 (Rs. 550 for SC/ST/PWD)

Definitely,you can get admission in B.E/B.Tech course through AIEEE exam,if your age is within 24 years and your college is recognized by AICTE or State Board of Technical Education.

If you fulfill with this criteria,then you can appear for AIEEE exam.

Last date to fill the application form is 31st Dec 2011.

Online (B.Tech/B.E) exam will held on 7th May 2012 to 26th May 2012.

And Result will be out on 15th June 2012.

Score card will be dispatchers from 21st June 2012 to 5th July 2012 to your home residency.

Through AIEEE , you will definitely get admission in B.E courses but in 1st year means you will have to complete 4 years in order to complete your B.E degree.In this case your diploma degree will be completely wasted and you will start engineering just like a 12th passed student.


I will suggest you to take entry in B.E courses through Lateral Entry Scheme or Diploma to Degree Programme .Through this programme you will directly get admission in 2nd year of B.E course as syllabus of first year is same for all branches .But All colleges doesn't provide this facility so you need to see that which institute is providing this facility and what is its impression.

Some colleges and institutes takes admission on the basis of written exams and some colleges takes admission on the basis of just the interview so you need to check these and apply.
