PREPARATION FOR PSU For preparing PSU either you can join coaching like Made easy gate forum gate academy etc. and you can prepare from Good books for PSU Exam. i am aware of that you want to prepare for PSU. this prepration can be done with final year or after that. you can use following reference books for preparation. Re: Eligibility criteria and application procedure for PSU exams? The eligibility criteria for PSE Exams are : 1.) B.E/B tech in any stream with a minimum of 60 % marks as an aggregate. 2.) Your age has to be between 21 - 30 years . 32 years relaxed for SC, ST, and OBC. Selection procedure differs from company to company. You have to sit for entrance tests, and go through interviews and Group Discussions. You can check for regular updates on Employment News. website : employmentnews.gov.in Good luck |

Re: Eligibility criteria and application procedure for PSU exams? dear friend, Eligibility criteria for PSU exam:- 1.Candidate must have complete the BE/B.tech course with 60% aggregate through out the career.. 2.Candidate must be a citizen of India. 3.Candidates age should be in between 21-30 years. Application procedure:- You can get the information regarding the exam from the job providing websites or employment newspaper.. When the notification comes out then you can apply for that exam through online/offline.. In online process you have to first download a bank chalan , after that you have to pay the exam registration fee to the bank, then they will give you journal number, after that you have to fill out the online application form, where you have to write the journal number,then submit the application form.. Take a print out of the acknowledgement slip, and send the acknowledgement slip, bank chalan copy,your photo to the mentioned address in the notification through speed post.. So, go for it.. Re: Eligibility criteria and application procedure for PSU exams? hi friend.. for the psu exam the eligibility criteria differs for different companies.. these exam can be done by those who are in the engineering field.. that means those who took science in their class 12..can apply for it.. for the company like..HAL the requirements are that u need have a degree of graduation in mechanical,ece,ee,computer science..with minimum of 65% for the NTPC company.. students belonging to sc,st,physically challenged categories and pursuing ull time degree course can apply for it.. for the HPCL company those who have full time graduates in engineering and technology can apply for it .. age limit is 30 years.. so choose the best one and those companies which are best suited for you.. all the best.. |

Re: Eligibility criteria and application procedure for PSU exams? hi friend.. sorry to tell you that with any branch its not possible for it.. only those who are belonging to engineering branch can apply for it.. so if you are in that field you can apply for it.. for these the eligibility is different for different companies.. in some companies there is age limit and for some there is no age limits.. so they have a specific cut of marks and some they dont.. so u better try something else if you are not in that field.. all the best with it.. |

Re: Eligibility criteria and application procedure for PSU exams? hi friend.. the eligibility for these psu exam mainly differs with the company for eg.. in HAL(HINDUSTAN AERONAUTICS LIMITED) some of the requirements are as follows.. -=graduate in mechanical ,electronics,electrical,computer science wiht a minimum of 65% are eligible.. and for NTPC students belonging to sc,st,physically challenged and pursuing full time degree course in engineering field can apply for it.. and for HPCL those who have full time graduates in engineering and technology in civil chemical,electrical can apply for it.. so choose those company that u can apply and go for it.. all the best with it. |

The general trend is like having 60% and graduation ... or in final yr of graduation and the requisite stream as demanded by the particular psu or whtever is the opening you are filling up for, However i would like to add in some cases the minimum %age required is 65% AS WELL, some of the reputed psu include IOCL ONGC DRDO ISRO HAL NTPC CIL They generally require 21 to 30 yrs of age with relaxations like 3 yrs and 5 yrs for obc and sc/st |
