Re: How to join IPS after passing 12th and degree? HELLO DEAR You are not eligible to become IPS Officer after completing your 12Th examination. If your aim is to become IPS Officer in future then for this you have to complete your Graduate degree course in nay discipline from a recognized University. IPS Stands for Indian Police Services and to become IPS Officer you have to cracked the UPSC Civil services examination. This examination conducted every year and the examination is Divided into 2 sessions : >> Preliminary examination >> Main examination Firstly, you have to cracked the Preliminary examination, only then you are eligible for Main examination. preliminary examination is Objective and there are 2 papers in Preliminary examination. Main examination will have 9 papers and you have to choose the subjects in Main examination on the basis of Graduation. To apply for this examination your age should between 21 to 30 years. Upper age relaxation is applicable for SC/ST/OBC Candidates. IPS officer job is consider as the one of the best job of India. To appear in the IPS examination you need the following eligibility criteria. Educational Qualification = Graduation in any stream from a recognize University. The final year graduation students are also eligible to appear in the IPS examination. Age Limit = The age must be between 21 to 30 years at the time of appearing of this examination. The age relaxation is also applicable for the reservation category student. If you are doing graduation then according to eligibility criteria you will be eligible for the IPS examination is in the final year of graduation or after passing the graduation degree. Re: How to join IPS after passing 12th and degree? IPS - INDIAN POLICE SERVICE, to become an IPS officer one has to appear and crack Civil Service Exam conducted by UPSC once every year. After 12th you are not eligible to appear for IPS but you can start preparation for IPS after 12th. The candidate must be an Indian National having either appear for the Graduation Degree exam or pass in any stream of education from a recognised University within the age of 21 to 30 years which the upper age relaxed for SC/ST candidate up to 5 years and for OBC up to 3 years, can apply for IPS of Civil Service Exam. There is certain prescribed Physical Standard to be maintained for those applying for IPS. CSE(Civil services exam) is one of the greatest examinations of the country.The procedure to become an IPS(Indian Police services) office or to compete for CSE(Civil services exam), you have to firstly complete your graduation from a recognized university from whatever discipline you want. Actually the minimum qualification that is required in order to appear for this exam is to have a graduation degree.After that you can start preparing for the exam.The procedure can be explained as follows: 1)Preliminary exams-This is an objective exam in which questions are asked from various subjects for example- general awareness, English, etc. 2)Mains exam- This is the second stage.This is a subjective exam in which you would be required to choose subjects according to your own personal choice. 3)Personal interview- This is the last stage in the whole process.But it is the most crucial one and many times even deserving candidates are eliminated at this stage. |

And if you are pursuing your graduation, then you can apply in the final year of graduation or after completing it. For more details look at the criteria below-- Eligibility Criteria for IPS: Educational qualification: You should have completed your graduation in any discipline from any recognized university. Age limit: Should have crossed 21 years. But should not have crossed 30 for general category, 33 for OBCs and 35 for SCs/STs . Physical Standard: Height – Male 165 cm Eye sight – 6/6 or 6/9 Blood pressure (High) – Age 23 – 123, age 24 – 124, age 25 –122, age 28 – 124, age 30 –125, age 32 – 126, age 34 – 127. Normally applications are invited by UPSC notifications in leading News Papers during December every year. The Civil Services Examination consists of three stages. 1. Civil Services Preliminary Examination ( Objective Type) (Usually conducted in May) 2. Civil Services Main Examination (Written) (Conducted during October/November) 3. Interview and final Selection (During April/May) 1.Minimum Educational Qualification: Degree of any recognized university. However candidates studying in final year examination may apply for Preliminary. When he applies for Main Examination, he shall be a Graduate. 2. Age Limit: Minimum Age: 21 as on 1st August during which they will write Exam. Maximum Age: 30 for OC, 33 for OBC and 35 for SC. 3.
