The AFCAT examination is of 100 marks and candidate will get 3 marks for every correct answer and one mark is deducted for wrong attempt. The syllabus for AFCAT examination is given below: (a) General Awareness – History, Sports, Geography, Environment, Civics, Basic Science, Defence, Art, Culture, Current Affairs, Politics etc. (b) Verbal Ability in English – Comprehension, Error Detection, Sentence Completion, Synonyms, Antonyms and Testing of Vocabulary. (c) Numerical Ability – Decimal Fraction, Simplification, Average, Profit & loss, Percentage, Ratio & Proportion and Simple interest. (d) Reasoning and Military Aptitude Test – Verbal Skills and Spatial Ability. SAMPLE PAPER OF AFCAT I have attached some previous year papers of AFCAT examination with this thread. You can download these papers from the below link. For the preparation of AFCAT examination you can also consider the books of R.S Aggarwal. |

It is being conducted on the months of june and july where the notification comes from december and january.it is a common exam conducted for three branches that is the flying branch .technical branch and the ground duty . Eligibility for flying branch: He must be 19 to 23 years after passing physics and maths in 12 th and must completed any b.tech or b.e .height must be atleast 162.5 cms and for the technical branch the requirement is he must be 18 to 29 years and he must have completed b.e aeronautical course and musthave passed with minimum percentage of 60%. I have attached the model question papers of afcat exam and the registration forms too along with it . |
