Candidates who are eager to earn admission in these PH.D programs have to appear for an entrance test. Those of the candidates who are successful enough to crack the entrance test are called for a personal interview. The PH. D programs offered by the Institute are available in most of the important discipline. There are four centers in which the Entrance Test are carried, which is namely: Kolkata, Delhi, Pune and Bengaluru. Courses offered: PhD in: • Chemical Biology • Genetics & Cell • Immunity & Infection • Molecular & Cellular Biology • Reproduction & Development • Structural & Computational Biology Eligibility criteria: A candidate should have one of the following qualifications: M.Sc in any branch of science/ M.Tech./ M.B.B.S./ M.V.Sc./ M.Pharma. Also the candidate should have got a minimum aggregate of 60% in class 12th examinations. Those in their final year of qualifying exam can also apply. |

Re: NII exam for Phd, syllabus and details NII is not an easy exam,it is somewhat tougher then net. But dont worry prepare for it well,keeep the basic concept of your subject clear and prepare the whole syllabus properly,they will ask you questions which students alway try to avoid. Best of luck

You will have to undergo under a written test on February 13, 2010. After passing that examination, you will be called for an interview. Prepare the core subjects of your M.Sc. course for the written examination. That will be enough for you to pass the written examination. |
