Re: How to get a Railway Job being a candidate of pursuing final year of B.Tech in IT? Dear Friend Indian Railway doesn't conduct recruitment of IT engineers on regular basis. It conduct recruitment according to vacancies available. Indian Railway appoints B.Tech. graduates through Engineering Services examination. The Indian Engineering Services Examination is conducted by UPSC every year. There are four categories of this exam. i) Civil Engineering ii) Electrical Engineering iii) Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering iv) Mechanical Engineering Being an IT engineering student, you can apply under Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering category. The examination comprises of following papers Objective Papers General Ability Test (General English & General Studies):200 marks Engineering Paper-I : 200 marks Engineering Paper-II : 200 marks Conventional Papers (Subjective Type) Engineering Paper-I : 200 marks Engineering Paper-II : 200 marks For any further details you can visit: http://upsc.gov.in/ |
