i want to give you a suggestion for better branch of m.pharmacy for your bright future, now a days firstly, Pharmaceutics very very importent subject, through this subject you can join both industry as well as teaching line, another importent subject is pharmacology, if you have a interest for this subject, then you can join in industry R & D section and also in teaching line. pharmacognosy, analysis is also better, otherwise if you join in MBA, then there is a chance of marketing and management purpose of industry. best of luck> |

There are different branches in M.PHARMACY like PHARMACEUTICS, PHARMACOLOGY, PHARMACEUTICAL ANALYSIS AND QUALITY ASSURANCE, REGULATORY AFFAIRS , PHARMACOGNOSY, PHARMACY PRACTICE are the major pharmacy specializations that can be studied . mainly pharmaceutics , pharmacology and analysis are having lot of craze nowadays because of their more demand in industry in different fields like quality control,quality assurance, research and development and manufacturing and production, formulation R & D and also in teaching industry and many more.etc. |

Pharmacognosy 5. Industrial Pharmacy. 6. Pharmacy Practice. 7. Pharma. Marketing & Management. 8. Pharmaceutical Analysis. 9. Quality Assurance. 10. Clinical Pharmacy. 11. Pharmaceutical Biotechnology. 12. Bulk Drugs. There are very few institutes which offer all these specialisations. In my opinion Industrial pharmacy and marketing are better electives. thanks |

Re: Which branch of m.pharmacy is better for bright future? students shud not enroll themselves in ceutics field coz industries r reaching at a saturation level in d no of recruitments just like wat happened in d engineering field some years back.historically ceutics has been major growth promoter as indian industries do not focus on r&d their focus is on f&d but the no new industries coming up nd very less of dem r increasing their production capacity.so its better u opt for q.control,q.assurance or chemistry. |

Pharmaceutical Biotechnology 4. PharmaChemistry These are the courses done in two year degree of MPharma. In the pharmaceutical industry, pharmacy graduates can get jobs in the areas of sales and marketing (medical representatives) and production departments in different capacities. Corporate hospitals also provide job opportunities. Employment in R & D area both in the industry and research institutions needs postgraduate and doctoral degrees. Pharmacy teachers also require such qualifications. |
