Re: How to get Job in Bank? To get jobs in banks you must have been 12th pass, graduation is best. others like mba or bank related certificate courses are preferrable. You will have to give bank exams or entrance exams and fit in the eligibility criteria. |

If you want to get job in bank then you will have to clear an entrance exam called IBPS and then an interview or in some cases group discussion with interview to get a job in bank . there are two types : Clerical Bank PO For applying for Bank clerk means clerical job ,The minimum educational qualification should be atleast 12th or equivalent degree from an recognized board or university. For applying for Bank PO , you must be a graduate in any stream from a recognized board or university. For getting job ,you must have good communication skill and some computer knowledge necessarily. Dear friend, You are interested in BANK JOBS At first I want to say that both PO and CLERK are good It depends how much you are qualified Criteria for PO : 1.Academic qualification : the candidate should complete graduation with at least 50% marks. 2.Age limitation : The age of the candidate must be within 21 to 30 years. Criteria for Clerk : 1.Academic qualification : The candidate must complete 12th standard with decent marks. 2.Age limitation : the age of the candidate must be within 18 to 28 years. Re: How to get Job in Bank? dear friend.. if you want to get job in bank so you have two options- 1- clerk 2- PO . if you want to apply for clerk so you have to complete you 12th with 55%. and if you want get job for PO so you have to complete your graduation with 55%. after that you have to prepare the, reasoning, english, gs, computer,math... than you apply for the cleark or PO.. after that you can get job in bank.. good luck. |

First of all which type of job you want to apply for , whether it is clerical or po. if is for clerical then u have to prepare for quantitative aptitude, english, reasoning, clerical aptitude and computer. if it is for po then u have to prepare for Q.A, Reasoning, English, Current GK, and computer as well as some marketing knowledge . U have to clear the fundamental first then make a routine of daily practice of atleast one set in a limited time period. always keep in mind that accuracy and time management is vital for this preparation. In Public sector banking, ur qualification must be graguate but in private sector it is preferable given to MBA. |

Re: How to get Job in Bank? the entry level of banks are clerks and probationary officers. for clerks intermediate is the eligibility and for po's graduation with any branch. you need to have a minimum of 50%. but this may vary from one bank to other. all the banks recruit people by conducting written test. Later the qualified people for written test will be called for the interview. for written test, the syllabus 1.Reasoning 2.Quantitative aptitude 3.computer awareness 4.General awareness 5.General english inorder to get through written test, you have to qualify in each of these sections. 1/4 will be negative marking for most of the banks. |

Re: How to get Job in Bank? dear friend, To get a job in bank you have to at least complete your 12th.. After completion of 12th in any trade you can apply for BANK Clerical service. Eligibility for Bank clerk exam:- 1.Candidate have to complete the 12th in any trade. 2.Candidate must have secure 60% aggregate through out the career. 3.Candidate must be computer literate. 4.age should be in between 18-28 years. For SC/ST the upper age relaxation is 5 years, and for OBC the upper age relaxation is 3 years. So, go for it.. All the best. |

Eligibility for Probationary officer Post: Should be a graduate with 60% marks Should possess computer knowledge Meet Age requirements specified by the Bank You should actively prepare for writing exam Generally most of the Bank's exam questions are based on:- Reasoning ability Logical Reasoning Quantitative Aptitude(algebra,arithmetic) English Vocabulary/Grammer Buy lot of books, solved question papers, work out them regularly. If possible, join some course/tutorial for writing bank exam. |

Re: How to get Job in Bank? You can get bank jobs in both private and public sector. You have not mentioned your qualification. If you have completed graduation you can join in public sector banks as probationary officer. You can also join as clerk if you have completed 12th. The public sector banks recruit through written test and interview. You can see the notification of both private and public sector banks in all the leading newspapers and employment news. |

In private most banks demands MBA and good personality(good communication skill) but in govt for govt jobs you must clear the entrance test which consist of of question related to Quantitative aptitude English reasoning General awareness and COMPUTER person should be graduate. age not more than 28. |
