Re: Which types of books are important for Air Force career? dear friends, The important books for the AFCAT are Advanced objective general knowledge, Quantitative Aptitude, Verbal Ability to name a few. if you want crack the AFCAT then you prepare 11th and 12th class syllabus completly.and some more books for practice like as- arihant publication, pradeep fundamental. etc., thanks |

The syllabus for the AFCAT examination is given below: (a) General Awareness – History, Sports, Geography, Environment, Civics, Basic Science, Defence, Art, Culture, Current Affairs, Politics etc. (b) Verbal Ability in English – Comprehension, Error Detection, Sentence Completion, Synonyms, Antonyms and Testing of Vocabulary. (c) Numerical Ability – Decimal Fraction, Simplification, Average, Profit & loss, Percentage, Ratio & Proportion and Simple interest. (d) Reasoning and Military Aptitude Test – Verbal Skills and Spatial Ability. For the preparation of above topics you can study the following books These are some of the books which you can use for the preparation of AFCAT examination. As the AFCAT examination is not that much difficult so these books are sufficient for you for the preparation of AFCAT examination. Air Force Common Admission Test is conducted for the selection of candidates as an officer in Flying Branch, Ground Duty Branch and Technical Branch of Indian Air force.
