 CAT - Common Admission Test. There will be an on-screen timer counting down from 1 hour 10 mins (i.e. 70 minutes) once a section begins. When the time is up, that section will end and you will not be able to go back to it. The second section will then begin and the on-screen timer will start counting down from 1 hour 10 minutes again. Once the second section ends, the test will end. You will not have the ability to end the first section before the first 70 minutes are up. However, you will be given an option to end the second section, and therefore your test, before the second 70 minutes are up. If you choose to end your test before the full duration is up, you will be required to wait at your testing station until everyone is dismissed by the test administrator. Common Admission Test (CAT) is conducted by Indian Institute of Management (IIMs) for the admission in MBA course. This examination is conducted in the month of November and December. Those candidate have completed graduation with above 50% marks are applicable for CAT exam.Your degree must be recognized.Marks relaxation is provide for SC/ST candidate. Final year student are also applicable for CAT exam.There is no limitation for CAT exams attempts so you can try it maximum times. Selection procedure of CAT Exam is of two steps in which first step is written test.After clearance of written examination you will have to attend personnel interview.Some Institute conduct GD round in selection Process . Exam is held in TWO phase :: 1.Written exam . 2.Group Discussion and Interview Pattern of the examination CAT 2011 will have only two sections: 1.Quantitative Ability & Data Interpretation 2.Verbal Ability & Logical Reasoning. There will be total 60 questions in the paper, 30 in each section. The duration of CAT 2011 will be 140 minutes. I have attached the previous year papers of the SNAP i hope it will help you to prepare for the exam. You can download these papers by just clicking on them . |
