Re: Maximum age for appearing for UPSC exams? There are various exams conducted by upsc every year for which age limit is different. like for NDA age limit is 16 1/2 to 19 years, and for CDSE the age limit is 19 to 23 years. For most of the civil service exams conducted by upsc the maximum age limit is 21-30 years. Your query is incomplete, just mention the particular exam you want to know about. |

To appear for UPSC examination, your age should between 21 to 30 years, onlt then you are eligible to apply for UPSC examination. And The Upper age limit relaxable Is only applicable for SC/ST and for OBC Candidates, So please check the upper age relaxation - Maximum of 5 years if a candidate belongs to a Scheduled Caste or a Scheduled Tribe And maximum of 3 years in the case of candidates belonging to Other Backward Classes who are eligible to avail of reservation applicable to such candidates. So, if your age should between 21 to 30 year, then you are eligible to apply for UPSC examination. Because for General candidates 30 year is the maximum age limit. Maximum age for appearing for UPSC exams "For appearing in upsc exam that is CIVIL SERVICES EXAM ,your age should lie between 21 to 30 years, if you are a general category student. There is some relief for OBC and SC/ST candidates as their maximum age limit is extended upto 33 and 35 years respectively". For other criteria you must have graduation degree with any stream from a recognized board or university. Number of attempts are 4 for general category student, 7 for OBC category student and there is no limit for sc/st candidates. With Regards ravik1214 |
