Re: Colleges for M.Tech (civil engineering) in India? Sub-branches in M.Tech? hiii For joining for the M.Tech course it is a must that the candidate should have completed his B.Tech course. In case a candidate with a B.Sc background would like to pursue a M.Tech course then he must first complete M.Sc course. Only then will they be eligible for the M.Tech course. It is a must in most institutes that the candidate have secured a minimum of 60% in the same. The candidates need to appear for the entrance exams like GATE for admission to these colleges. Most of the institutes accept the GATE score. Some of the top institutes in the country include the IIT's, NIT's, BITS, VITS. For most of the cities these courses are also conducted by the universities in the cities like Pune University, Andhra University etc. There are quite a few sub branches coastal, geotechnical, transportation, environmental etc. |
