Re: Is it possible to join Indian Navy after scoring 56.9% in 12th PCM? Hi friend yes. You can join Indian Navy after scoring 56% marks in 10+2 with science. You can join Navy as a officer by giving the exams of NDA i.e. National Defence Academy. ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR NDA -- The candidate must have passed 10+2 with PCM. Age limit is 16.5 to 19 years. You can also join Navy by giving the exam of CDS after graduation from a recognized University. Age limit for CDS as a Navy officer is 19 to 22. GOOD LUCK

Indian Navy Recruitment 2012 10+2 Cadet (B Tech) Entry Scheme: Indian Navy invites applications from unmarried male candidates to join Indian Naval Academy Ezhimala, Kerala under 10+2 Cadet (B Tech) Entry Scheme (Permanent Commission) for which the course will be commencing in December 2012. Eligible candidates may apply through online mode or before 18-06-2012. Other details like age limit, educational qualification, selection process, how to apply and important dates are given below Indian Navy Vacancy Details: Name of Course: 10+2 Cadet (B Tech) Entry Scheme Age Limit: Candidates must be born between 02-07-1993 and 01-01-1996 (both dates inclusive). Educational Qualification: Candidates should have passed Senior Secondary Examination or its equivalent with 70% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and 50% marks in English, from recognized University or board. Selection Process: Selection of eligible candidates will be made in two stages; stage one comprises of Intelligence Test, Picture Perception and Discussion Tests and stage two comprises of Psychological Test, Group Testing and Interview. How to Apply: Candidates need to apply through online mode on or before 18-06-2012. After submission of application candidates must take the print of application and send it along with relevant enclosures on or before 25-06-2012. Instructions for Online Application: 1. Log on to http://www.nausena-bharti.nic.in/ and select the Forthcoming Opportunities link to access the current notification. 2. Go through the notification carefully and select the Apply Now link to start the online application process. 3. After going through the Instructions click on Proceed button to go to online application forms link. 4. Fill the first part of application and click on Submit button. 5. Again fill all mandatory details in the part two of application, check for errors and click on Submit button. 6. This will provide you with a system generated Application Number, retain it carefully. 7. Take two copies of Application and Attach photograph and attest signature. 8. Super scribe the Application Number, Name of the Course and Qualification on the envelope. 9. Send it along with all relevant enclosures to Post Box No. 04, Nirman Bhawan, New Delhi 110 021. Important dates: Starting Date for Online Registration: 25-05-2012 Last Date for Online Registration: 18-06-2012 Last Date for Receipt of Application: 25-06-2012 SSB Interviews for Shortlisted Candidates: July-November 2012 Commencement of Course: December 2012 |

Eligibility criteria for Indian Navy- Marital Status: Unmarried Indian Male candidate can apply. Nationality: Indian. Age limit:your age should be between 17-20 years. Educational Qualifications:you should have 10 + 2 or equivalent examination with 50% aggregate marks in Maths and Physics. These are the eligibility criteria for Indian Navy.you can apply for Indian Navy. |

Dear you don't have mention your D.O.B as the minimum age required for appearing is till 19.5 years but i am suggesting you that you can go for CDS exam. with best wishes thank you. |

Eligibility for NDA exam:- 1.Candidate must have complete the 12th with physics, chemistry and maths. 2.Candidate must have secure 60% aggregate through out the career. 3.Candidates age should be in between 16.5-19 years. 4.Candidate must be unmarried male. 5.candidate should be a citizen of India. These are the eligibility criteria you need to fulfill. So, sorry to say you that you are not eligible for the exam. If you really want to join in NAVY , then go for BE/B.tech course, after completion of which you will be able to apply for NAVY through CDS exam.. All the best. |

The Eligibility Criteria are as follows : Age Limits, Sex and Marital Status You should be unmarried male candidates born not earlier than 2nd January, 1993 and not later than 1st July, 1995. Educational Qualifications For Naval Wings of National Defence Academy and for the 10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme at the Indian Naval Academy :- You should be 12th Class pass from a School recognized by a State Education Board or a University with Physics and Mathematics. You need to undergo an entrance exam for the same. The exam pattern are : Paper-1

Yes you are eligible for NDA exam. NDA - Stands for National Defence Academy This examination is conducted by the Union public service commission (UPSC) twice in a year. As my knowledge there are some basic and important eligibility criteria are described below- AGE: - Your age should be in between 16.5 to 19 years. NOTE: - Only unmarried males are eligible. Educational Qualification : - candidates must passed 10+12th with Physics and Maths and have to minimal 60% in 10th. NOTE : - Candidates must be physically and medically fit for the NDA test.
