Re: When are the forms available for Indian Air Force? You can apply Indian Air Force through NDA after 12th and after Graduation through AFCAT and CDS. NDA-NATIONAL DEFENCE ACADEMY exam conducted by UPSC twice every year for entry in to Indian Army, Navy, Air Force wing of NDA. The candidate must be an unmarried Indian male having 12th with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics within the age of 16.5 to 19 years can apply for Indian Air Force of NDA. The NDA can be applied on line and the application form will be available in the official website of UPSC i.e.www.upsc.gov.in AFCAT-AIR FORCE COMMOM ADMISSION TEST conducted by Air Force for selection of candidate to Flying Branch, Technical Branch and Ground Duty Branch. The candidate having completed Graduation in any stream or Engineering with 60% marks from a recognised University within the age of 19 to 23 years is eligible to apply for AFCAT. The AFCAT can be applied on line and the form will be available in the official website i.e.www.careerairforce.nic.in CDS- COMBINED DEFENCE SERVICE exam conducted by UPSC twice every year for entry in to Indian Military Academy, Naval Academy, Air Force Academy and Officer's Training Academy. The candidate must be an unmarried Indian male having completed Graduation with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics within the age of 19 to 24 years is eligible to apply for Indian Air Force of CDS. The application form will be available in the official website of UPSC i.e.www.upsc.gov.in |

This information is from 2008 , but from this you will a get a basic idea. how to apply , qualification , criteria etc..  for more details you can visit website of upsc .com ... good luck....... |

Re: When are the forms available for Indian Air Force? The Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) to be conducted on 28/08/2011 (Sunday). Who are eligible candidates may apply through offline on or before 11/07/2011, (For far flung areas 18/07/2011). The information regarding age limit, educational qualification,  Selection process: The mode of selection is written test/screening test/psychological test/group test/interview and medical examination basis. How to apply: The eligible and qualified candidates may send their application in prescribed format and filled the application in English, application can be typed or written as per the format given in the advertisement in A4 size paper, with two latest colour passport size photographs, one pasted on the application form and another one is attached the application form, along with two self addressed envelops, to the respective address given in the advertisement, on or before 11/07/2011, (For far flung areas 18/07/2011). thanks |

For appear in the CDS examination you must have to complete your graduation in science stream i.e. maths , physics with at least 60%.   the age limit for this exam is 19-24. this exam is conducted by UPSC every years. there are three branches in air force- 1.flying branch 2.technical branch 3.ground duty. Re: When are the forms available for Indian Air Force? as a third year B.Tech student you will not be eligible to apply for job in Indian air force. last year students of B.Tech and passed out candidates are eligible to apply for job in Indian air force. notification publish in different time of a year for job in Indian air force. you have to apply for the post for which you are eligible according to the notification. generally notification for job in Indian air force publish in leading job newspaper like employment news as well as various job portal website and also in official recruitment website of Indian Air force http://careerairforce.nic.in/home.html visit this website regularly you will get notification when it will be available in the website and also you will get application form from this website. best wishes. |
