The pattern of CBSE PMT Exam is: Preliminary Examination and Final Examination. The Preliminary Examination consists of one paper of 3 hours duration containing 200 objective type questions. Those who clear Preliminary Examination only are eligible to appear in the Final Examination. The Final Examination consists of two papers of 2 hours duration each. Paper-1 contains questions from Physics and Chemistry and Paper-2 contains questions from Biology (Botany & Zoology). Both the papers have subjective questions that are to be answered in the Test Booklet supplied. The above syllabus was followed till last year. AIPMT Cutoff The cutoff varies in each year and the previous year cutoff is, 2007 it was 285 marks 2008 it was 188 marks 2009 it was 300 marks 2010 it was 360 marks Score Validity AIPMT score is valid only for the current academic year.
