Re: List of competitive exams to pass to get jobs in government sector as well as private sector jobs? dear, for government sector you have to give civil services exams or jobs in reputed private sectors eligibility required: education qualification: --12th pass --graduation complete age limit: general: 21 to 30 yrs obc: 21 to 33 yrs sc/st: 21 to 35 yrs number of attempts: general:4 obc: 7 sc/st: no limit or on the basis of gate score card you can get reputed and desirable jobs good luck |

Hi dear, The List of compettive exams to pass to get job under govt or public sector are: 1) IBPS clerk exam- Qualification required matric passed with 60% marks for UR categories(only passed for SC, ST, OBC & PH) or, 55% marks in 10+2 exam for UR (only passed for SC, ST, OBC & PH) OR, diploma in any banking stream OR, graduation in any decipline. 2) IBPS PO exam- QR: 60% marks in b.com or bca or bba. 3)SBI clerk exam-QR: 60% Marks in 10+2 exam. 4)POSTAL ASSISTANT/SORTING ASSISTANT EXAM- QR: 12th or 10+2 standard or equivalent exam passed with 60% marks for UR , 55% for OBC, 45% for SC/ST Candidates. |

If you are an engineering graduate you can find opportunities in many core companies. Some of the companies taking engineers are ONGC, SAIL, IOC, AAI, etc. You can even appear for various UPSC exams and Bank tests if you are interested. You can look for private jobs in many private firms in software industry. Thanks |
