In aerospace engineering at IIST and there is a creiteria for being selected in ISRO in IIST if one can't eligible to join ISRO what is the scope for that person? |

Re: Job Oppertunities after Aviation Engg or Aerospace Engg courses conducted by IIST? hi dear, First of all it is not 'aviation engineering' it is (avionic engineering) and aeronautical engineering. Dont worry career prospect in really good in these two fields of engineering. However,getting tehre is not an easier task,for b.tech courses you have to either crack IIT-JEE or ISAT.ISAT is a new entrance,which is introduced by IIST for conducting admission to its b.tech courses,the minimum eligibility criteria for it is you must have scored atleast 70% agregate in your 10+2 (both). After completing your b.tech from IIST you willo be absorb as an ISRO scientist on an agreement basis for atleast 2 year . However, if you dont want to join ISRO in taht case you have to pay rs. 10 lacs for leaving ISRO. thanks |

You can directly get placed in ISRO and other Space Program research institutes after completion of your course in IIST. This an advantage of studying in IIST when compared to others. Even if you didn't get placed in ISRO then there are many other Aerospace Industries in India like: HAL, NAL, DRDO-DRDL, BALE, TAS, ADA, Global Quest, Godrej Engines etc. The field of Aerospace Engineering has a good scope. |

I also heard that if u crack ISAT, after the completion of ur b.tech, u will be absorbed into isro...........i just passed tenth and am studying in inter first year..........i desperately want to crack ISAT........... Hello friend, After passing out B.Tech from IIST,you will have bright job opportunities in the Govt organizations like ISRO...You can join as junior scientist or junior engineer there.. The branch of aerospace engg has as usual lot of demands and its pay packages are very large in general.. So you have lot of options to join for whether you want to indulge in ISRO or go for other private companies as aircraft maintenance engineer or other job profiles further.. To get into IIST you have to sit for ISAT entrance test...For which you have to really work harder.. All the best! |

I have heard that IIST places its students to ISRO also as IIST is under ISRO. You can even geta job in top Airlines industries depending on your aptitude. In abroad if you continue your MS then you can get placed in top companies of the world So lots of scope. Best of Luck |
