Re: How much percentage is required in 10th and 12th to appear for MBA?

Dear sir,

First of all my friend let me tell you that MBA is not for 12th pass students, for MBA first you have to be a graduate, only then you can apply for MBA.

If you want to do MBA for that you have to apply for CAT/MAT exams ,if you want to take admission in good MBA college.

For taking admission in IIM and other good college you have to give CAT exam.

Eligibility for CAT is follows:

1. Candidate should be a Indian

2.The candidate must hold a Bachelor’s Degree, with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA [45% in case of the candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Differently Abled (DA)

3.Candidate must have min 50% marks at 10th-12th level. However 10th,12th percentage gets a priority among equal CAT scorer.

4. Cadidates who are apperaing for final years exam of degree can also apply for CAT.

hi,
For M.B.A you have to pass graduation with minimum 50% marks from recognized university.
The 10th and 12th marks are not matter.
For admissions in top college like I.I.M you have to qualify the C.A.T exam.
Some top college for M.B.A are:-

Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad
Indian Institute of Management Bangalore
Indian Institute of Management Lucknow
Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode
Indian Institute of Management Indore
Indian Institute of Management Shillong

Pattern for CAT:

1.CAT exam is held online.

2. It contains general ability,aptitude,english,verbal,non-verbal questions. You have to do a lot of practice for that

List of good MBA colleges in India is follows:

1. Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad

2.Indian Institute of Management Calcutta

3.Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode

4.XLRI Management Institute Jamshedpur

5.FMS – Faculty of Management Studies

6.IIFT – Indian Institute of Foreign Trad

Re: How much percentage is required in 10th and 12th to appear for MBA?

To do MBA you must write any one of the entrance exam called CAT (Common Aptitude Test) or TANCET. To be eligible for applying both the exams you must be a graduate and you must have crossed 50% minimum as the aggregate in your graduation. So i mean your 10th and 12th std percentage is not a problem for doing MBA. You must have done a graduation in any discipline and you must have got minimum 50% as aggregate. But you must study well and get good marks in 12th to get seat in good college.
