Hi,

to join Navy you need to write NDA exam conducted by UPSC.
for this you need to complete 12th class.
if you want to join navy or airforce then you need to have Maths and Physics as your subjects in 12th class.
to join Army there is no compulsion on any subjects, they just need to complete 12 th class or equivqlent in any stream.

candidate in 12th class going to appear board exams also can apply for NDA exam.

Age limit between 16 1/2 years to 19 years

A candidate has to go through three stages :

Written examination conducted by UPSC
Interview by SSB to test officer potentialities
Medical Test by a Service Medical Board.

Scheme of the Examination

Papers will be objective type. Medium of examination is English only.

Syllabus for Entrance Examination
Paper I - Mathematics : (Maximum Marks 300)
Arithmetic, Mensuration, Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Statistics.
Paper II - General Ability
Part A - English (Maximum Marks 200)
Part B - General Knowledge (Maximum Marks 400)

APPLICATION FORM are published by the UPSC at interval of six months,
i.e. April / May and October / November in all the local newspapers and Employment News.

ELIGIBILITY

PASS in XII from any stream
IN NDA
In case you want to go for NAVY then you need to have PHYSICS+MATHS
AG=16.5 TO 19
ONLY MALE CANDIDATES
INDIAN CITIZENSHIP

Also,another way to get into INDIAN ARMY is through CDS But for that min. requirement is GRADUATION. Hence you can apply for NDA

To join in NDA after + you should be a science students other stream students can not apply for this exam.

I am providing you the details information for NDA exam after +2 .

For more details you can visit website of upsc , because UPSC conducts this exam twice in a year.
