Re: Can I appear for UPSC exam after completing my MBA course in HR? dear friend, Yes, my friend after completion of MBA course you can apply for UPSC exam.. But you have to fulfill some other eligibility criteria also.. Eligibility for UPSC exam:- 1.Candidate has to complete the graduation in any trade. Final year candidates can also apply for UPSC exams.. 2.Candidate must not have any pending backlogs during graduation. 3.Age should be in between 21-30 years.. For SC/ST the upper age relaxation is 5 years and for OBC the upper age relaxation is 3 years. 4.Candidate must be a citizen of India. These are the eligibility criteria you have to fulfill. So, if you fulfill all these eligibility criteria then you can apply for UPSC exams. All the best. |

Re: Can I appear for UPSC exam after completing my MBA course in HR? Dear pal, UPSC conducts various exam for admitting the aspirants to the various posts available under the central government. The different exams are IAS, IPS , IES, CDS, etc. The eligibility for the exam varies from exam to exam . For ias, ips, the academic requirement is a bachelor degree from any discipline. For ips you need to satisfy physical requirement too. For ies the educational qualification required is bachelor degree from a engineering field. The age criteria remains the same. The minimum age for the exam is 21 . And the aspirant can apply upto a age of 30 and the relaxation is as per the norms of central government . In the similar way the eligibility for the exam varies. So it will be better if you make your question about the field for which you want the complete details. |

Re: Can I appear for UPSC exam after completing my MBA course in HR? UPSC stands for Union Public Service Commission. Every year UPSC is going to conducte a variety of entrance examinations in order to let the candidates into various public services. Have a look at some of the entrance examinations that are being conducted by UPSC. -NDA Exam -Civil Services Exam -Indian Engineering Services Exam -CDS Exam -SCRA Exam etc. The minimum eligibility criteria in order to appear for these entrance exams is different from one entrance exam to other entrance exam. You did not mention the specific UPSC Exam for which you want to know your eligibility. As you have completed MBA in HR which is a Post Gradution course, you are almost eligible for all of the UPSC Exams as per academic qualification. Only thing that you need to check yourself is the age criteria in the sense whehter you fall under the age group through which candidates can become eligible for UPSC Entrance Exams. Relaxation is there in upper age limit for the candidates of SC/ST category for many of the UPSC Examinations. Next time try to be more clear with your question so that we can better suggest you.
