for NDA your age should be between 16 1/2 years to 19 years. you should be mentally as well as physically fit. first you have to give a written exam of mathematics and general ability test. the syllabus is all the things you have studied from grade 10 to 12. you should take help from books like Arihant-NDA and R.D. Sharma.

I am listing the eligibility criteria below:-


Eligibility Criteria

Age:
16½ to 19 years.

Marital Status and Gender: Unmarried male candidates

Educational Qualification:

(i) For Army wing of National Defence Academy :- 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination conducted by a State Education Board or a University.

(ii) For Air Force and Naval Wings of National Defence Academy and for the 10+2 (Executive Branch) Course at the Naval Academy :- 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent with Physics and Mathematics conducted by a State Education Board or a University.

Candidates who are appearing in the 12th Class under the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination can also [FONT=Arial]apply for[/FONT] this examination.

Nationality - A candidate must be either

(i) a citizen of India, or
(ii) a subject of Bhutan, or
(iii) a subject of Nepal, or
(iv) a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before the 1st January, 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India, or
(v) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, the East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zambia, Malawi, Zaire and Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently setting in India).

Provided that a candidate belonging to categories (ii), (iii), (iv) and (v) above shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India. However, the certificate of eligibility will not be necessary in the case of Gorkha subjects of Nepal.

[FONT=Arial]Physical Fitness[/FONT]: Candidates must be physically fit according to the prescribed physical standards by the respective training academies.

NDA (National Defence Academy) exam is conducted by the UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) twice in a year i.e
NDA - l, NDA - ll.
NDA has three wings.
=> Indian Army,
=> Indian Navy,
=> Indian Airforce.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA :
=> The candidate should be complete 12th standard from a recognised state board of india.
=> Only unmarried male candidates are eligible.
=> Age limits is 16.5 years to 19 years.
=> Candidate should be a citizen of india.
=> Candidate must be physically fit.

SELECTION PROCEDURE :
1. Written test,
2. Interview,
3. Medical test.

N.D.A. stands for National Defense Academy and this examination is Conducted Twice in a year as N.D.A (I) and N.D.A (II) by U.P.S.C.

--To apply for this examination you have to complete your Intermediate examination from a recognized Board.
--Final year appearing candidates are also eligible for NDA Examination.
--If you have completed your 12Th examination and your age should between 16.5 to 19 years then you can appeared for this examination.
This examination is Conducted by UPSC for these 3 wings :
Army Wings
Naval Wings
Air Force Wings

For Army wings, you have to complete your 12Th examination in any discipline.

For Naval and Air Force Wings, you have to complete your 12Th examination with Maths and Physics as a compulsory Subjects.

There is No Upper age relaxation is applicable for any candidates.

The selection are based on Written test, Personality test and Medical test. Those who cracked all these stages are eligible for Training.

Examination Pattern :

Subject Code Duration Maximum Marks
Mathematics 01 2-½ Hours 300
General Ability Test 02 2-½ Hours 600
Total marks 900

To apply for this examination, you have to fulfill these Requirements :

You must be in good physical and mental health and free from any disease.
The minimum acceptable height is 157.5 cms. (162.5 cms for Air-Force).
Your chest should be well developed, fully expanded chest should not be less than 81 cms. The minimum range of expansion after full inspiration should be 5 cms
You should be able to read in a distant vision chart 6/6 in better eye and 6/9 in worse eye with or without glasses.
Myopia should not be more than 2.5 D and hypermetropia not more than 3.5 D including Astigmatism.

after 12th and with any subject u r elligible for nda xam.
But you must secure at least 50% marks.
Your age should be in between 16.5 to 19 years.
Only unmarried male candidate are eligible for NDA exam.You must have citizenship of India.

NDA stands for national defence acadamy,and these exam held by UPSC twice in year like NDA1 and NDA2.
1.for the Nda the candidate should have age 16.5 to 19 years of age,and 12th subject like physics,chemistry and maths.

Eligibility Criteria for NDA Examination :

Nice to see that you are Interested to apply for National Defence Academy examination, To apply for this examination you have to fulfill the given Eligibility Criteria.

The Notification of NDA Examination will be Published twice in a year in the employment Newspaper or in the UPSC Website.

Eligible candidates may fill the application form Online Only.

There is No Offline application form Facility from this year. The examination fees of NDA is Rs 50 and you have to pay the fees by any one of the Modes :

>> Pay fees by SBI Net Banking
>> Pay fees by SBI Debit/Credit card
>> Pay fees direct in SBI Bank

If you have fulfill the given eligibility then you are eligible to apply for this year NDA (I) Examination.

Only unmarried male candidates born not earlier than 2nd January, 1994 and not later than 1st July, 1996 are eligible for NDA Examination, It means your age should not be more than 19 Years at the time of Commencement of Training.

The last date of apply for NDA Examination 30/Jan/2012.

The examination will be Held on 15/April/2012.
