Re: Querry about IAS officers?

Hi

to become cabinet secretary you need to have years of service. So at low age such as 23 years, its nearly impossible to become cabinet secretary.

Also to become chief minister, you need to win election.
Being a IAS officer, you can become chief minister.
You should do good work and create good PR while you work as IAS.
After years of service, you can resign from IAS and stand for the post of chief minister of state.

yeah if a person gots selected in between prescribed age..

he will be posted as deputy collector for a district..

he or she has to work till the candidate get's seniority.

second.

No this is not possible directly

there are certain stages for this..

first you'll become..junior officer

next senior.

comissioner

directors of seperate departments

additional secratary..

cheif secratery..

then cabinet secratary.

central govt. secratary.

this is the top postition in your desired job.

Yeah anyone in state can nominate for cheif minister.

but using your position i.e. as an IAS officer you cannot become CM

you will have a chance to become governor

for example.

our present governor Narsimhan is an Ex-IPS officer..

hope you got all the info. required.

thank you sir....

Re: Querry about IAS officers?

hi..
let me make it very clear that both the questions you have asked is highly improbable ,
never can person be made cabinet secretary at the age of 23,generally it takes years of services to become an cabinet secretary,
also as long as a person is an ias officer he can not become an chief minister, but yes if the person resigns then he does have an chance to become chief minister but only if he wins an election
