Re: Which courses to join with a duration of less than 3 years after completion of BCA? you are already having the fundamental knowledge in BCA course, you can easily understand the various subjects in MCA course and this will help you to become master in the subject.Having good subject knowledge if you are strong enough in communication skills, there are plenty of job opportunities available for you by number of reputed companies. please you to don't think of the duration for MCA course but to think about your future career how to make a good platform for your career,If you want to be job in software industry you should do MCA.Because they are not encouraging BCA graduates for software development.Otherwise you can do one year course/six month course in animation and web designing |

If you are the student of BCA then i must recommonded you to complete your post graduation in Master of computer application (MCA). But it is also depends upon your intrest. You can also gone for 1.MBA 2.MCM Those are post graduations of two years. |

The MCA subjects are easy to understand and these are related subjects of BCA. The MCA course duration is 3 years. After completion of MCA you may get good job opurtunities. If you want to join two years course then I can suggest MBA course with any specialization. |

Dear pal, Having completed your bachelor degree you need to specialise yourself in a particular field if you are not interested in going for a job. Being a computer application graduate you can do masters in either computer application or in business management. Appearing for masters degree in computer application you need to have choosen mathematics as your subject in the higher secondary. Aspirants are admitted to the degree course based on the performance in the entrance exam. The various entrance exam are nimcet, tancet etc. The exam includes aptitude questions which includes mathematics and computer science. The duration of the degree course is three years. The eligibility required for the masters in business administration is a bachelor degree from a recognised university. So you can also apply for it . The various entrance exam are CAT, MAT, TANCET etc. For getting admitted to the IIM various rounds are involved other than a valid cat score. The selection procedure involves group discussion followed by personnel interview. So it based on your interest to choose the discipline of specialisation. All the best. But as for me the better option is doing masters degree in computer application. |

Re: Which courses to join with a duration of less than 3 years after completion of BCA? After BCA the usual and best course available for you is MCA. But MCA is a three year course. As you think its so long i would suggest you to do 1. MBA which would be a two year course. 2. Or you can do M.sc computer science which is again a two year course. 3. Or you can do M.S which is also a two year course. In MBA also there is course named as MBA information technology. You can do that. My special suggestion is that you can do MCA course in distance education so that you need not go for college for all three years. So that you can do MCA which is the best course for you and you need not go to college for studying that. |

If you join MCA course soon after the completion of your BCA course, the subject knowledge that you have gained in your BCA course will be better useful for you. All the fundamentals and introductions regarding various aspects will be provided to you under BCA course. Even in MCA course also, you may come across these subjects. As you are already having the fundamental knowledge in BCA course, you can easily understand the various subjects in MCA course and this will help you to become master in the subject. Having good subject knowledge if you are strong enough in communication skills, there are plenty of job opportunities available for you by number of reputed companies. So, I suggest you to don't think of the duration for MCA course but to think about your future career -how to make a good platform for your career -how to make most out of MCA course to get good jobs etc. Still if you want to join other courses, you can pursue MBA course with any of the following specializations -MBA in Systems Management -MBA in Information Technology -MBA in Human Resource Management The duration of MBA course is just 2 years and you will be imparted number of life skills in this course. The admission to this course will be given on the basis of any of entrance exams like -CAT -MAT -GMAT -SNAP -XAT etc. Have good preparation to the Entrance Exam and crack it but make sure that you are going to join MBA course where your chosen specialization is being available. |
