Re: Can I appear for IIT JAM exam again? How many attempts are allowed? I have cracked jam iit first time 2019 but graduation is not completed so i again applied and cracked 2020 but no sit is allotted due to low rank . now can i appear for third time for IIT Jam2021 |

IIT JAM ELIGIBLITY CRITERA--- At least 55% aggregate marks for General/OBC category candidates and at least 50% aggregate marks for SC, ST and PD category candidates in the qualifying degree. Proof of having passed the qualifying degree with the minimum educational qualification as specified by the admitting institute should be submitted by 30th September 2011. Maximum age limit for this exam is 25 year after this you can't apply for this exam.For candidates belonging to SC, ST and PD categories, age limit is 30 years. At the time of admission, all admitted candidates will have to submit a physical fitness certificate. |

How many attempts are allowed? yes you can appear for IIT JAM exam again. you can give IIT JAM entrance exam two time.one with your graduation and second after next year of your graduation. You have applied ont time you can also apply one time again. Eligibility for IIT JEE- 12th with Physics,Chemistry and Maths. you must have 60% marks in Physics,chemistry and Maths. Maximum age limit for this exam is 25 year after this you can't apply for this exam. This time you are eligible for IIT JEE exam but for this you have to full fill these eligibility criteria. |

How many attempts are allowed? your qualifying exam for IIT-JEE will be If you are 12th class passout or appearing else if you are diploma passout or appearing... Either of these qualification will be consider... One must score a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate that is 60% overall percentage including Physics,chemistry and Maths in your qualifying exam for GENERAL AND OBC..and 55% for SC/ST,PD... The age limit for appearing in IIT-JEE is 25 years. so yes you are eligible for next year... but is the last time you can write exam as after that you will become 26 in next year.... For candidates belonging to SC, ST and PD categories, age limit is 30 years. Also a candidate can take the JEE two times at the most. This has been done mainly to reduce stress on students........ |
