Hi,

To get job as PO or clerk in nationalized bank you need to write the IBPS exam which is conducted every year.
The notification for PO will be released in the month of october/november and for clerk it will be in the month of december/january.

The age limit required is 21-30 yrs. Age relaxation is:

for obc - 3 yrs
for sc/st - 5 yrs

The educational qualification required is to have a degree completed with minimum of 50%

Hi,

Qualification required for IBPS bank clerk and Bank PO exam is GRADUATION.

Eligibility criteria for both the exam is almost same except the age criteria.

Eligibility criteria for Bank Clerk –

Candidate should be a graduate fromany recognised university.

Age of the candidate should be between 18 years to 28 years.

Eligibility criteria for Bank PO-

Candidate should be a graduate from any recognised university

Age of the candidate should be between 20 years to 30 years.

The relaxations in age are –

For OBC category – Upper limit relaxed for 3 years.

For SC / ST category – Upper limit relaxed for 5 years.

Exam Pattern –


There are two stages of the exam for both Bank PO and Bank clerk.

Written exam

Interview.

Eligibility Criteria for Bank Clerk -

Qualification-

1. Educational Qualification is 12th Pass with 60%
2. Age limit 18-28 year.

For Bank PO eligible criteria is as following
1. Graduate in any discipline from recognized university or college.
2. Age limit should between 21 - 30 year relaxation for lower cast.

Ibps conducts 5 common written test in a year. (i.e 2 exams for Probationary officer, 2 common written exam for clerk and 1 specialist officer. IBPS Exams like clerk will held after July 2012. and PO exam ans specialist officer exam will held next year.

Generally exam for Bank P.O.(Probationary Officer) and Clerical job are conducted by SBI and IBPS(Institute of Banking Personal Selection).

ELIGIBILITY OF BANK CLERICAL EXAM:-

-The candidate must be an Indian Citizen
-He should have either completed 12th with any stream with at least 60% marks from a recognised Board or should have completed Graduation in any stream from a recognized University.
-Heshould be within the age of 18 to 28 years of age with certain relaxation for reserved candidate in upper age limit.
-The candidate should be a computer literate one.

ELIGIBILITY FOR BANK P.O. EXAM:-

-The candidate must be an Indian Natuional.
-He should have completed Graduation in any stream from a recognised University.
-He should be within the age of 20 to 30 years with upper age relaxation for reserved candidate.
-The candidate should have good knowledge over computer.

The selection for both the exams are through written exam followed by personal interview.

DETAILS ABOUT BANK PO EXAM


Those candidate have completed their graduation degree from any recognized university are eligible for BANK PO exam.

They are not require any kind of percentage marks in graduation for this time.

But your age must be in between 20 to 30 years.

BANK PO exam consist of two steps 1) Written test 2)Personal Interview.

For written test you must be prepare for mathematics and general knowledge.Also you must have basic knowledge computer field.

Every bank set their own criteria .So it is not perfect criteria all BANK PO exam.

A new restriction has been imposed on the number of attempts for the candidates. For general number of attempts is 4, for OBC it is 7 and for SC/ST.

DETAILS ABOUT BANK CLERK EXAM


ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR BANK CLERK EXAM:-

1) You must be completed 10+2 with any stream . But you 10+2 percentage must be above 55.

2)Your age should be between 18 to 28 years.

Age relaxation is provide for SC/ST/OBC candidate.

The main key subject for BANK CLERK exam is maths ,English and general knowledge.

So you can prepare all above subject.

PO's / Management Trainee :

- you must be a Degree holder
- your age must be in between 20 - 30 years.
- your nationality should be Indian , Nepal , Bhutan , Tibetan refugee.

Clerk cadre :

- you must have passed SSC / Matriculation or 12th standard or Degree
- your age should be in between 18 - 28 years.
- your nationality should be Indian , Nepal , Bhutan , Tibetan refugee.

IBPS conducts the cwe for every 6 months in a year , so you can apply for any entrance test.

The eligibility conditions for a bank clerk and bank PO are written below.

Age limit: Candidate age must be in between for clerk 18 to 28 years and for PO,20 years to 30 years (age relaxation for reserved candidates as per Govt guide lines)

Educational Qualification: for clerk,12th with 55% score or graduation and for PO any degree from a recognized University with 55% marks for General and OBC Candidates and 50% marks for SC/ST/PWD Candidates respectively.

sir, i, jasmin kanojiya. I had passed 12th with 66% and i had passed graduation with 50% and i had passed my mba with 56%. I have passed ibps po exam with weighted score of 119. In India, Every year the Banking service recruitment Board (BSRB) conducted the common examination for recruiting candidates as Probationary Officers, which is called as Bank PO examination and also for taking up candidates as clerks.Even though, BSRB examination is conducted for both Probationary and clerical posts, there is certain level of difference between these two examinations.The Eligibility criteria for them is as under-

Clerical examination comprises of questions to test English language skills, numerical aptitude, clerical aptitude and reasoning ability, while PO examination comprises of questions to test quantitative aptitude, general and English awareness and reasoning ability of candidates.

In both clerical post and PO examinations, candidates getting through the written examination are called for personal interview. In the case of probationary officers, interview aims at assessing decision-making, leadership qualities and intelligence of candidates.

Having scored 74% in 10th std, 72% in 12th std and cleared my CA-inter and completed my articles can I appear for IBPS examination? I dont have any graduation degree. If I get a job in bank what job would I get?

Required qualification for bank PO :

1.Academic qualification :
The candidate must complete graduation

2.Age criteria :
The age of the candidate must be within 21 to 30 years.


Required qualification for bank CLERK :

1.Academic qualification :
The candidate should pass 12th standard

2.Age criteria :
The age of the candidate must be within 18 to 28 years.
