Re: How to get officer cadre jobs in OTA? After writing CDS exam for Short Service Commission, officers get commissioned into the various Arms and Services of the Indian Army after 49 weeks training. For the eligibility part, they need to be a graduate to apply. According to the revised conditions of Service of SSCOs (Men and Women both Technical and Non-Technical), tenure of Short Service Commission in Army will be granted for 14 years. On completing two years’ service, they pick up the rank of Captain followed by Major on completion of 6 years’ service. After 13 years of service, they pick up the rank of LT.Col. |

Through Officers Training Academy(OTA) of Combined Defense Services (CDS) Exam is generally conducted twice a year by the Union Public Service Commission(UPSC) ,you can get chance to take admission in Indian Army. Eligibility Criteria: i)you must have any degree from any recognized University. Age Limit: 19-23 Years They select the students through the i) Written Test ii)Intelligence & Personality test iii)Medical test. Exam Pattern i) Written Test All the two papers are of objective type containing the English General Knowledge total 200 marks,each paper of 100 marks. ii)Intelligence & Personality test :Generally here checks the Personality of the candidate,GD,group planning, physical fitness test, interview, small lectures on general issues & psychological tests. etc... iii)Medical test. After getting selected in interview ,the candidates are called for medical examination which is conducted by Military Hospitals. Pre-Commission training After getting final selected the candidates are called for Training. |

How to get officer cadre jobs in OTA? Respected Sir, Right now i am working in a MNC company i want to join indian army for sure but my DOB is not suiting any kind of army jobs because i tried for SSC but at that time my age was 26 ,After that only i came to know that the age limit is upto 25 years . So, Kindly help me to join Indian Army i have NCC "B" Certificate and "C" Certificate as well my DOB is 16-08-1984 Kindly let me know Is there any possibilities of getting any Officer Cadre Jobs in OTA M<Saravanan> |
