Friend you can join Indian army after passing the B.Tech course you can join Indian Defence Services, For Indian Defence services you have to qualify the C.D.S entrance exam. C.D.S exam is conducted by U.P.S.C twice in a year. Candidate who pass the graduation in stream is eligible for this exam. Age of the candidate should be in between 19-24 year. This exam is conducted in three stage:- > Written exam > Interview > Medical exam C.D.S(I) exam is over so you can apply in C.D.S(II) IMPORTANT DATES FOR C.D.S. EXAM.(II), 2012 Date of Notification:-02.06.2012 Last date of receipt of form:-02.07.2012(MONDAY) Date of exam:-16.09.2012(SUNDAY) ALL THE BEST! |

As you are pursuing B.Tech, the best thing i would suggest you is Combined Defense Service Exam. This examination is conducted for recruitment of officers in Indian Army, Air Force and Navy. Being an engineer, you will be eligible to apply for any of these defense forces provided you fulfill other requirements which includes physical standards and age. The minimum eligible age to apply for the exam is 19 years. The maximum age limit are as follows: Indian Army- 24 years Indian Navy- 22 years Indian Air Force- 23 years. The examination is conducted by union public service commission twice every year. |

When can I apply for Defence services being a candidate having secured 73% in 10th, 59% in 12th and pursuing 4th semester of B.Tech? sir i was doing btek from chennai,presently iwas in fourth semester my overall btek percentage was 70.i want to join defence service but my 12th percentage is 59and 10th percentage is 73,please sir give suggestion and inform me when vacancies are coming in 2012 |
