Re: Age limit for MPSC Exam? MPSC-MAHARASTRA PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION conducts examination for three categories of administrative posts as cadre class-I, Class-II and Class-III. The minimum qualification for MPSC exam is Graduation in any stream of education. Age Criteria for Cadre Class-I and Class -II officer:- 21 to 33 years for General Candidate Upper age relaxed for SC/ST candidate up to 5 years and for OBC up to 3 years. For other category the age Criteria:- 21 to 28 years for General candidate which is relaxed upto 5 years for SC/ST and for OBC candidate up to 3 years. Age limit :- open category- 33yrs obc - 35yrs sc / st / nt - 38 yrs attempts : No limit -stages of exams 1.mpsc prelims – objective type paper general studies paper - 200 marks (0.25 negative marking) 2.mpsc main exam – long ans type paper - 1) english paper - 200 marks, 2) marathi paper - 200 marks, 3) general studies paper i- 200 marks, 4) general studies paper ii - 200 marks 5) optional studies paper i - 400 marks 6) optional studies paper ii- 400 marks total: 1600 marks 3.interview - 200 marks mpsc exam for the posts of psi / sti and asst educational qualification : Graduate age limit :- open category- 33yrs ( for psi - 28 yrs ), obc - 35yrs sc / st / nt - 38 yrs attempts : No limit |

MPSc stands for Maharashtra Public Service Commission conducts basically three types of cadres class-I,class-II,class-III .ifferent eligibility criteria required for different cadres . Eligibility Criteria of MPSC Class I and Class II Officers Exams- 1.Educational qualification = candidate should be a graduate from any recognized university . 2.Age limit = Up to 33 years for general 5 years relaxation for sc/st . 3 years relaxation for obc . Eligibility Criteria of MPSC PSI Exam - Educational qualification - graduation from any recognized university . Age criteria = up to 28 years for general . up to 33 years for sc/st. up to 31 years for obc . Every exam of MPSC has two steps - i) Preliminary step ii) Main step You have to clear the preliminary first to qualify for the main . Thank you |
