Re: Date of CPT exam? Dates for applying? DEAR FRIEND The notification for Common Proficiency Test - December 2012, has not been published till date. Generally the notification for the exam is published 5-6 months before the exam. So, you can expect the notification for the exam by the end of July or August. The application process for the exam starts in October. The exact last date of registering the course to be eligible to apply for the exam, is published in the notification itself. Generally the last date of registering the course is 3 months (approx.) before the exam. So, you should register for the course by the end of September so as to become eligible to apply for the test. The result of December CPT exam was already declared and you can see that by visiting the website of ICAI and after filing your details like roll no. then you will see your result and download the result. The notification for the next CPT have not been published yet by the institutes. For further information, you may refer to the official website of ICAI. |

The exam is conducted in 2 modes. 1.Paper and Pencil Mode: The exam for the paper and pencil mode is scheduled for 19th June 2011 and will be held according to schedule as declared. 2.Online Examination: Due to unresolved technical problems, the dates for the online examination have not been declared as of yet.
