Dear Friend, Yes you can fill the NDA Form as per your educational qualification but at the same time you have to fulfill the other essential requirements for the exam too. Other Essential Requirements for NDA Exam are : * You must be an Indian. * Your age should lie in between 16.5-19 years. * You must be an unmarried male. * Physical Requirements -  This is the information i have to the best of my knowledge regarding your query.  Yes...of course, you can apply for NDA{National Defence Academy} after passing Intermediate at any percentage of marks that you have secured. -To join NDA, you have to appear in NDA entrance exam conducted by UPSC{Union Public Service Commission}. Through NDA exam you can go into Indian Army, Navy & Air Force. -UPSC conducts NDA entrance twice in a year generally as NDA I &NDA II. Only unmarried male candidates can appear in this Exam. Selection Procedure for NDA: ----------------------------- The selection process for NDA contain 3-stages-> 1. Written Exam 2. Interview 3. Medical test. Exam Pattern& syllabus for NDA written test --------------------------------------------- There will be written Examination for total of 900 marks in two Subjects 1. Mathematics - Maximum marks is 300 and the duration of the test is 2.5 Hrs. 2. General Ability Test - Maximum marks is 600 and the duration of the test is 2.5 Hrs. The papers in both the subjects will consist of objective type questions only. Yes you can fill the application form for NDA after scoring 61% in Intermediate as there is no requirement of any percentage of marks for application to NDA. NDA- NATIONAL DEFENCE ACADEMY exam conducted by UPSC twice every year as NDA-I and NDA-II for entry in to Indian Army, Navy and Air Force wings of NDA. The eligible candidate must be an unmarried Indian male within the age of 16.5 to 19 years of age having either appeared for final 12th exam or passed from any stream and having good physical condition can apply for NDA. The registration process for NDA-I is going on now the last date of submission of application for through on line only will be 30.01.2012 followed by exam on 15.04.2012. Dear friend, If you are interested in NDA Then please go through these criteria details below : 1.Academic qualification : The candidate should complete 12th standard examination 2.Age limitation : The age of the candidate must be within 16.5 to 19 years. 3.Nationality : The candidate must be an Indian 4.Eyesight criteria : Eyesight of the candidate must be 6/6. 5.Height criteria : The height of the candidate should be minimum 165 cm. Eligibility for NDA exam:- 1.Candidate has to complete the 12th from a recognized central or state education board.. 2.Candidate who is appearing for 12th class board exam can also apply for NDA exam. 3.Candidates age should be in between 16.5-19 years. 4.Candidate must be a citizen of India. 5.Candidate should be unmarried male. These are the eligibility criteria you have to fulfill. There is no such percentage of marks required to apply for NDA exam.. So, go for it.. |

NDA exam is conducted by UPSC every year twice take qualified students into different defense service like >>Indian Army wings >>Indian Navy wings >>Indian Air Force wings Eligibility criteria for NDA exam: For Indian Air Force/Indian Navy wings: You should have complete 12th class with PCM stream from a recognized university and should have maintain mini 55% marks. And your age should be between 16 1/2 to 19 years. For Indian Army wings: You should have complete 12th class with any stream from a recognized university. And your age should be between 16 1/2 to 19 years. If you fulfill with this criteria,then you can appear for this year NDA exam. NDA-I exam notification released on 31st Dec 2011,closes on 30th Jan 2012.And exam will held on 15th April 2012. NDA-II exam notification will release on 5th May 2012,closes on 4th June 2012.And exam will held on 19th August 2012. Coming to educational criteria depending on the wing the criteria changes slightly ->For Army wing : Intermediate in 10+2 or equivalent course are eligible to apply. ->For Air force & Naval Wing : you should complete 12th with physics and mathematics subjects. There is no rule relating to a cutoff percentage in your 12th , the pass candidates of 12th like you are eligible for NDA entrance exam and training. Apart from these qualifications you should be physically and mentally fit. this fitness is examined by a dedicated medical board officials and announce your eligibility. For your reference I will upload a file in which all the things that are related to NDA are present. I will upload it below download and view it , It may help you to understand more clearly about NDA. |
