Re: What is GRE? Information about it? This test is conducted to pursue a Masters in Arts (MA) or Science (MS) . If you are willing to study in abroad (United States) and also in other countries you can apply to this exam. There are two types of tests . The General Test measures verbal and quantitative ability, and analytical writing skills. Data shows that scores on the GRE General Test consistently predict graduate school students' grades and performance. . The Subject Test measures the achievement in a particular subject area or extensive background in that discipline. |

Re: What is GRE? Information about it? dear friend, GRE exam is an entrance exam to get admission in foreign universities for post graduation course.. So, if you want to pursue your post graduation course from foreign universities then you need to crack the GRE exam.. Eligibility for GRE exam:- 1.Candidate has to complete the graduation in fields like- BE/B.tech/B.Arch etc.. or, Candidate has to complete the post graduation course in fields like-M.Sc/MBA/MCA etc.. 2.Candidate must have 50% aggregate through out the graduation / post graduation course. 3.One must have adequate proficiency in english. These are the eligibility criteria you need to fulfill. So, go for it.. All the best. |

Re: What is GRE? Information about it? First of all start with full form GRE stands for Graduate Record Examinations. in generally saying this test is entrance test to do M.S. in US. It is just like M. Tech in India. After clearing this test you will be able to do M.S. in US along with scholarships and all the residential expenses will be paid under the scholarship. in short if you will clear GRE you will be able to get MS degree at your own cost no need of family financial support. |
