1.Flying branch :- Candidate must have complete the graduation in any trade, but must have maths and physics in 12th.. Candidates age should be in between 19-23 years. 2.Technical branch:- Candidate must have complete the graduation in engineering field. Age should be in between 18-28 years. 3.Ground duty branch:- Candidate must have complete the graduation in any trade. Age should be in between 20-27 years. AFCAT selection Procedure  I have attached The Syllabus for AFCAT exam and Question papers so please check it out. |

They mainly ask queations on aptitude,english and general studies, i have appeared during august 2011 i have got selected and now my intervie is sheduled on 12th March 2012 at Dehradun.My branch is ECE ,after attending 12March interview session i let you know what they ask in technical . The AFCAT examination is of 100 marks and you will get 3 marks for every correct answer and one mark is deducted for the every wrong attempt. The syllabus of AFCAT examination is given below: (a) General Awareness – History, Sports, Geography, Environment, Civics, Basic Science, Defence, Art, Culture, Current Affairs, Politics etc. (b) Verbal Ability in English – Comprehension, Error Detection, Sentence Completion, Synonyms, Antonyms and Testing of Vocabulary. (c) Numerical Ability – Decimal Fraction, Simplification, Average, Profit & loss, Percentage, Ratio & Proportion and Simple interest. (d) Reasoning and Military Aptitude Test – Verbal Skills and Spatial Ability. Candidates qualify in the AFCAT examination will be called for the SSB examination. The SSB examination is of 5 days and candidates who qualify the SSB examination will be called for the medical examination.
